Tip Up Town starts this weekend just south of you. I’ve heard there’s only three inches of ice. Sounds like a recipe for disaster for the idiots who go on the ice.

Our pug was doing the frozen paw dance this morning. Squeaky snow and beams of light projecting upward….those of us up north know what I’m saying.

Another vote for the Abu max reels Black Max or Pro Max (whatever they’re called now. I’ve had good luck with KastKing reels.

@detroit1 the Lions always sucked growing up so I decided I wanted to find a good team to root for. Along came the Bills in the early 90’s, Jim Kelly, Thurman Thomas, Andre Reed, Don Beebe, Bruce Smith. Four consecutive Super Bowl appearances (albeit losses) made an impression on this 7 year old kid. I’ve been a fan ever since and it seems that I’ve passed that on to my son. Don’t get me wrong I root for the Lions and watch them almost every Sunday and I’d be ecstatic to see them make a deep run in the playoffs but….. GO BILLS!

Here’s our snow total from Wednesday to this morning.

Woke up to another 3-4” and it’s still coming down pretty good. It’s supposed to stop around noon then lake effect every day for the next week. The thing with lake effect, it does what it wants. They can predict an inch and we get six or they predict six inches and we get an inch so it’s a wait and see.

With air temps barely cracking the double digits for the next few days and overnight lows barely above zero I suspect the lakes will be frozen in no time.

Things are different these days. With social media now you can still be very visible even if you aren’t fishing on Sunday. Even without social media some can still move the needle based on their accomplishments and reputation. Rick Clunn for example. He’s using legends exemptions almost yearly and 6th Sense just picked him up.

Mother Nature making up for lost time

Now I’m disgruntled! Everyone is saying go the lawyer route which seems like that’s the route that’ll get you approval. Why in the bleep should someone have to cough up money to have someone essentially fill out the same paperwork that has already been filled out? In the case with Lynn it should be an open in shut case with a quick approval given her medical records and ongoing treatments. Other cases where it’s not as obvious sure I get it, but this is ridiculous. Who needs coffee in the morning when you can read stories like this to get the blood flowing? Rant over

Buffalo is going to pay people $20/hr to help shovel snow starting tonight thru Sunday morning so the game can be played as scheduled.

That’s hilarious! true story, my stepmom who’s 64 has never heard of Bob Ross! This came to light at thanksgiving. My stepbrother and I watched him after school making fun of him and 25 years later we find our his mom (my stepmom) has never heard of him! He’s an American icon! The last month I’ve had numerous Bob Ross YouTube shorts of him or shorts mocking him.

I think the transfer portal will make that circle bigger over the coming years.

Welp, this storm is going to start around 10 am tomorrow. We’re looking at 8” by 7 pm, on top of that we’re looking at 35-45 mph winds, and by Saturday night our total snowfall is predicted to be 12-14”. Starting Sunday to temps are going to plummet to almost single digit highs and close to zero for lows. Lake effect snow next week ending next weekend. By the time it’s all said and done next weekend they’re predicting 22-24” of new snow. @MIbassyaker where are we fishing tomorrow afternoon? 😂
