We’ve gotten about 5-6” of the white stuff in the last 14-15 hrs. The snow flakes are huge! Just got the notification that school will be closed tomorrow. I’m betting with the colder temperatures tonight and the heavy wet snow today the roads will be a skating rink in the morning. @A-Jay watching the snow totals for the next week there’s the typical small white bullseye over your kneck of the woods. Those of us in the north know what white means. 😎

@Siebert Outdoors shot callers are my go to as far as swim jigs. All his jigs are my go to!

They let them play football and called the egregious penalties, you know the way football should be played. To be fair 73 for Washington was moving almost every play in the fourth quarter.

It’s no big secret I’m a Wolverine fan. Washington’s QB has a cannon but they haven’t been up against a defense as good as Michigan’s. On top of that Washington (from what I read) isn't good at stopping the run game which Michigan loves. I think Michigan takes this game 31-21. Who ya got?

@BigAngus752 I’m drooling because all our lakes a old muck bottom, soup bowls, with no standing timber, at least the ones around me. I’m envious of the flooded waters and cypress trees that are down south. I’d envy it until of hit a stump and destroy my lower unit. 😂

My son and I went with my friend yesterday to help him set beaver traps (see above pictures of their handy work). He just found this place last week and was raving about it Friday night. When I saw it I was drooling! We don’t have flooded timber like you southerners do so I thought I was in heaven! Unfortunately after looking at satellite photos and doing a little research on this place it was made by the DNR and almost completely dries up in the summer so no bass. I pictured myself pitching jigs all day to all that wood hoping for a giant bass. Oh well, it’s still a cool place off the beaten path.

Someone has been busy!

I’ll fish the same four I fished last year two of which I fish multiple times each year. I do plan on adding one more big lake in this year that’s just down the road from me. This lake has two other lakes attached to it so I guess you could say three more. I haven’t fished this chain in probably 20 years, so I’m looking forward to it.

I believe @TnRiver46 has done that more than once #overcompensating 😂

Well our season end yesterday with us empty handed. A while back I was hoping the farmer next door would cut the corn. Now I’m wishing he hadn’t! Corn gets cut, the deer take off. I should’ve thought about that before because the exact same thing happened last year. Late doe season last year we didn’t see a single deer….the corn had been cut.

The game wasn’t on in my neck of the woods. I was stuck watching the fins get stomped which I was happy about.

Michigan fan here. They don’t have the best bowl record and it’s Alabama so I’m a bit worried. That being said,
