@Eric 26 @RipzLipz sorry guys but your relatives don’t hold a candle to the deadly fumes a pregnant woman can produce! 🤢
  2. It’s time for them to go back on strike! 😂
  3. Dan Campbell has rolled the dice in the past and has worked for him. I like the call to go for two. Plus the NFL OT rules suuuuuuuuck!
  4. I don’t remember the last time I made it to Midnight. I predict I’ll be sleeping by 10.
  5. Yeah he didn’t walk up to the ref to wish him a Happy New Year’s or in @TnRiver46’s world happy Easter. Lions got hosed!
  6. @TnRiver46 you forgot Valentine’s and St. Patrick’s day. Get with the program!
  7. I have quite a few speed bags. They’ve held up pretty well so far but I don’t fish nearly as much as @A-Jay so time will tell. I do have a few Bass Mafia Money Bags too. The money bags are nice and seem pretty stout. They’re almost double the price as the speed bag. The one thing I don’t like about the money bag is the yellowing of the clear bag due to the sun. The quality still is there, it’s just my OCD that keeps me from buying more.
  8. @JNorman if you know you know. 😁
  9. What a wild ending to the Lions Dallas game!
  10. Welcome to Bassresource. Centrifugal brakes on Abu reels are nothing new.
  11. Mrs. 12poundbass and I had a little date night last night and saw the Starlink satellites coming across the night sky. This was her first time seeing them. For those of you in Michigan they’ll be visible for the next couple nights (weather permitting) around 6:25 pm coming from west to east.
  12. Whopper Plopper. I really gave it a go this year with minimal success. I know I’m late to the game with this lure but my confidence isn’t there. I’ll give it a shot again next year and see what happens.
  13. Lipless cranks. I fished some new ones I got to try out early in the year and for whatever reason I didn’t fish them much throughout the year. My son had good success with them. Another for me was a T-rig weighted craw. It’s been a staple in my arsenal for a while. I really don’t have a reason for reducing its footprint in my boat but I did and I kind of regret it. I won’t make that mistake again.
  14. We didn’t have any issues with our packages being late or not delivered. We did have issues with Amazon dropping packages off that belonged to a couple across the street who just built a house and moved in probably two months ago. Our house number is 11852 and their’s is 11825. This happened several times and I finally was able to wrangle one of the drivers to let them know. I told him this had been an on going issue, the names were different, and most importantly the addresses were different. He replied with, “this is where Amazon has the pin for their address.” He took it over there thankfully. After many complaints to Amazon from the neighbors, it seems to have finally been resolved or they haven’t order anything in over a week.
  15. These kids nowadays are so entitled. 😂
  16. I almost always fish outside in. There are times where I’ll come across some really good looking cover or structure, get a tad excited, and pitch right into the middle of it completely forgetting to pick it apart from the outside in.
  17. @A-Jay is in northern Michigan @MIbassyaker is on the west side of Michigan and I’m in the middle of the state and I have the same luxury as those two. Lakes, rivers, more lakes, and more rivers. There are miles and miles of rivers surrounding me and dozens of lakes within a 15-20 drive of my house. I’ve looked towards the east side of the state and there doesn’t appear to be nearly as many lakes over there. Those people can have St Clair and Saginaw Bay, I’ll keep my little lakes.
  18. Since the day we got Hank we called him the Easter Bunny. Turns out he loves carrots! He’s actually obsessed with carrots.
  19. How do the PLB’s work? Once it’s triggered does it go to a call center (for lack of a better term).
  20. Humans can’t walk in a straight line so kayaking in a straight line is definitely a no. On top of that kayaking in the fog anywhere other than hugging the shore sounds like a recipe for disaster.
  21. Not much winter weather here and hardly any sun either. As of yesterday we have received 16% of available sunshine for the month of December. 😎
