Use Aluminum angles or you will expedite galvanic corrosion caused by dissimilar metals. Use solid rivets and high zinc primer everywhere bare metal is exposed. Don't ask me how I know!?

Mustang What's your life worth? If I get chucked out of the boat there's a pretty good chance that I have hit my grape pretty hard and could be unconscious. If you are going to go through the trouble and expense to buy one get one that will keep you alive if you need it. Or, Just up your life insurance so your wife can enjoy life with the milk man!

Someone may relate to this, I was lowering my trolling motor earlier this year when... I pulled on the handle to release the lockdown pin, easy right, well the rope snapped and I went flying back toward the back of the boat when my rib cage slams against my rod locker and I at minimum separated some ribs, probably broke one or two. I am glad I was alone for the embarrassment, but it still hurt like a ******!

No worries Bucky! I have had 3 knee replacements and a bad back not surgically repairable. Not a big deal. I am grateful I can still stand up and grab my butt with both hands. Many young and women cannot when they come home! Occasionally I get a hard time for being slow while launching or recovering. I just laugh at their ignorance! I figure the good Lord has something for me to do yet before he takes me home. Be kind to others, you never know what challenges they face.
