  2. Harris Lake in Vilas County Wisconsin! It's about 100 yards from the Ooopers!
  3. Thank you for saying so MisplacedTexan99, but it was my honor to serve our nation and carry on a belief that it takes some sacrifice from all of us to maintain the finest standard of living the world has ever known. God Bless America!
  4. Title town Green Bay Packers!
  5. Good luck sir, I have fortunately been able to survive similar circumstances. I have certainly been blessed!
  6. As stated TALK to one another! I am not sure of your upbringing but there is a great big book that helped me pull my life back together when going through some rough patches It should be easy to find since it's the most printed book in history. You'll know what to do!
  7. You'll do fine I am quite sure! If you are able to come on here and talk about I am quite I tell sure you have the perseverance to see this through to a good resolution. Keep your chin up and your options open. NY is making big efforts to bring in New businesses. Good luck!

  9. Nice work sir! As an amateur woodpecker I appreciate your labor!
  10. Retired from the United States Marine Corps in 1995. I have seen the very worst parts of most countries earth. Started off in the infantry but learned quickly there was not much future in that. I went on to repair and fly helicopters. After retirement I created maintenance manuals for aircraft and components. Fun when you're young! Now I am an ornery old man that harasses his grandchildren. After a number of replacement parts the good Lord allows me get a line wet every now and then.
  11. I am just getting back into fishing and I must agree... You always need another rod! And a reel to try on it! Wow, I thought shooting was expensive
  12. I have a Gander Mt rod that I was very fond of 25 years ago when it was purchased. It's only a 6'6" HEAVY rod that I used for live bait Musky fishing on Chippewa Flowage. It is STIFF! Works real well with a 14" Sucker on it though! Not much use for it now!
  13. Let me tell you about the ones I used to get when I was a kid... ...while walking to school barefoot in the snow, uphill both ways...
  14. Congratulations! I have a 7' 703SF and LOVE it!
  15. I just put 20# yellow Super Slick on my new one. Casts at least 30 feet?
  16. Do we have a sticky or string where folks list places they order gear from that have proven reputable? If we do I missed it. I find. I look, and order, from a limited number of mail order houses and would love to see where others source gear. Could be a sponsor issue huh?
  17. Thank you for the help folks! As BassGirl stated sometimes we just don't use some old tried and True baits because we're always looking for something new. I just ordered some from TW. I love this place!
  18. bcossellman welcome home! A week at Lake of the Woods, and then some of the lakes out west for 2 weeks. Last week at the big O! Better get my reels in for service!
  19. Thank you, I already have Sluggos in several sizes and colors. I look forward to it!
  20. Will do, sorry for duplicating topics!
  21. I have seen these Jigs on TW and have never noticed any conversation regarding their use. Are they not used by the predominance of fisherman, or just grouped with swim jigs in general. They seem new to me, but many things are. They seem to be almost a spin-off of a spinner bait. Should I try a few, or are all the old timers hoarding them! Please resolve my ignorance!
  22. Not for beginners maybe but 20# PP or Suffix is on all my rods. At least those that don't have 50 or 65 on them. Practice will make closer to perfect. I still screw up from time to time but I think braid is worth it!
  23. As already stated, good quality. You'll be pleased.
