I caught about a 3 pounder I guess, was 16 in long, on a 2 in Rapala countdown 3' -6' along with 2 one ponders. All hit it near the grass. I was reeling it sort of fast , muddy water about 6:30 pm David

What made you rage the most?
This happened 50 plus years ago, Dad and I were going fishing one morning[ we had to move out a barn of tobacco that evening, so only the morning to fish] ,times were a little hard back then and we caught our in minnows. after what looked like forever catching the minnows we were on the way. About 2 miles before we got to the lake, their was a car on side of the road with smoke coming out from the interior of the car. Dad pulled over, the drivers seat was on fire, and you guessed it, Dad poured our minnows, water and all on the seat to put it out. No fishing that day. I still get POED every time I think of it.

What was your worst fishing purchase decision ever?
A used boat that did not have any leaks when I bought it. It wouldn't hold water in the yard when it rained

Line manufacturers read!
now I am confused , why not just spool it off , I stick a big nail through the spool and nail it into a block of wood, that is how I have been doing it for years. Is that the wrong way?
- How far can you cast a senko?

How about the reel monkey

How about the reel monkey
I guess I am hooked on BCs and threw a open face in just incase. I guess the best way to find out what you want is try them. I will keep what I like and sell the rest , by the way the Kastking Stealth is a solid reel for the money , I may even keep it David The assassin may or may not be as good, I do not like the internal brakes at first look.

Backlashing mid cast/ Can't get distance
Well mine [Kastking Stealth] was doing the same thing, I can help I think. take the side cover off and put all the brakes on, turn the dial to 9, adj the spool so the bait falls slowly to the ground and the spool stops when the bait touches ground. and put 50 lb braid on, make sure you wind it tight. Then make some casts side arm. cast with just the wrist. Thumb the reel just as the bait hits water you can back off the brake after you get use to it. David
