You have a bad ground! The lights do need to be mounted. As already stated. Make sure the white wire is connected to the truck chassis and the trailer frame , make sure the connection is to bare metal.

I am far from an expert, but I am not loyal to any of the manufactures. Do this is an honest review to the best of my limited ability. The reels : Curado 200pg Curado 70 hg Kastking Stealth Kastking Assassin Tatula sv tw Quantum tour kvd Here is the skinny , The two Shimanos are equal in most respects I favor the 200 maybe because it has braid and the 70 Flowro They both cast well and very smooth. the 200 reels fish in easier but not that much difference than the 70 The Kastkings I thought were great until I received the other reels nuff said they are good reels if you have never had a bait caster The Quantum is only slightly better than the Kastkings in my opinion The Tatula is pure heaven But I am not going to get rid of the Curados They were all used on Powell rods MH at the time Folks take it for what it is worth I am only a beginner to BCers

I have both, the 70 and the I 200 what do you like better

I have a Powell Inferno in medium, mod-fast and love it. 99 bucks and you get a free Diesel rod 1/4 to 3/4 lure weight But I am not took with their spinning rod, I had to modify mine They need some grip above the reel , no good place to hold the line
