  1. Agree with http://www.omfishingsinkers.com/
  2. I would check out the Quantum Smoke in 3000 size. Very nice reel for the money.
  3. Invizx is great stuff just tie a good knot.
  4. I recommend using the front and rear straps. Its a simple task to prevent a potential disaster.
  5. Love the Fenwick it's a great rod for the money
  6. I didn't realize until after 10 years my favorite rod was a two piece. It was together when I purchased it.
  7. Perception Pescador Pro unless you want to stand up
  8. Still use them. I find I have to order them since nobody carries them locally.
  9. Last summer I caught bass using Flip Tail worms I bought in the late 70s.
  10. Never much cared for the tournament guys catching them off the beds and hauling them miles away to weigh in. Every thing in that bed gets eaten by others.
  11. I've had great success texas rigging them. I use an 1/8 oz tungsten weight with a bobber stop. River bass kill them.
  12. A little pricey but i use only Yamamoto branded plastics. Over the 4-5 years I've eventually switched because my catch rates just seem to be better.
  13. I've had a HMG for 5 years and love it. Great rod for the money.
  14. I've used the stupid tube with good results but i've had better success using Oldham's Weedless Tube-Lure. I fish in rivers with a lot of snags and the Oldham's holds up better. The guard doesn't seem to bother the fish.
  15. Agree with the previous comment on casting further. Also slightly more line retrieved with each turn of the handle.
  16. I've owned one for about 3 years now and i'm impressed by it's performance. I find myself reaching for this reel over the many others I own.
  17. Got a 6ft medium casting about 8 years ago and I just don't notice much difference from my $150 rods.
  18. Put some cheap copolymer or mono on it with a 1/2 oz sinker and practice.
  19. I have a 7FT version and use it for Senkos an creature baits. They may appear light but there is plenty of back bone there. Great rods.
  20. I wear Frog Togg wader pants with a pair of Shimano wader shoes. Under them its sweat pants and heavy socks. After Thanksgiving I add long johns to the mix.
  21. I fish on smaller rivers for Smallies from a kayak and over the years most of my rods have ended up being 7FT medium fast actions. That seems to be the best all around rod for what I fish with. I fish a lot of tubes, senkos, and small crank baits.
  22. A 4 or 5 inch Senk is my go to bait in the fall up through about the second week on November.
  23. Double willow spinner bait with a mr twister trailer. Second a 5 inch senko rigged wacky style.
