  4. They're not worth it. My buddy never wore his, and he just sold it a few weeks ago to pay for car insurance, and sadly, it covered it all, a $685 ring.
  5. I have nothing like all you guys, but i'll post it anyway. My biggest limit was all smallies, 5 of them, totaling 18 pounds 15 ounces. All caught on a spinnerbait.

  9. Yes to casting like a rocket! ;D ;D As far as being a finesse bait, i'm not sure. I have caught fish working them slow, almost deadsticking them, and also caught fish dropping them in structure ( fallen trees, brush) around the bank, just drop and pull out. I kinda think of them as a really versatile bait. I just fish them how the fish want them.
  10. I found these videos a while ago. I agree with him 100%. What do you think? There are several, check them out.
  11. My fav's are big black spinnerbaits with a heavy skirt, big colorado blade, and a rattle, sometimes I also add an uncle josh pork trailer, or some of my homemade scent. Another is a crankbait, any size, but I like rattles and one that will stay down long, I usually only fish them where there's rocks and I take it down till it hits the rocks, give it a snap, and let it float up, then start again. I also will throw a jig or creature bait at night, like a zoom brush hog, in black, with some form of scent. Good luck! Ian
  12. Best one I heard in a while! ;D ;D ;D

  20. In muddy water, here are my following preferances. Spinnerbaits- Booyah 1/2 ounce-chartreuse-2 golden willowleaf blades if it's sunny cloudy- same spinner-chartreuse blades or a Strike King redeye special 3/8 ounce white with white blades Crankbaits- chartreuse and black, big with rattles. Jigs- big, black, and loud. Worms are the same as jigs. I hope that helps ya some!
  21. Would you mind tellin me what the lure is in the first pic. It looks like a spinnerbait-crankbait mix? Thanks, Ian
  22. Count me in Muddy. I'll have my drivers liscense in 3 weeks.
  23. While fishing for smallies the other night, I managed a 12 pound 10 ounce channel cat. I caught him on a strike king spinnerbait at around midnight fishing 8 foot of water. He measured 30 inches. I was totally not expecting him, so he suprised me. I was usin a 7' med/hvy BPS Tourney Special rod with a Quantum Accurist and 12 pound Sufix Elite. He put up a good fight! I had to wake up my buddy to get him to net it. I brought him home to get pics, I had low battery power and wanted to save battery if I got a big bass. I took him to the crick below my house, where he can live the rest of his life, so he was released.
  24. There was a thread like this a while back, but I couldn't find it. Lets see some pretty pics!
