  1. I have watched KVD's spinnerbait techniques at least 100 times, not joking. I would watch it every other night, I would switch between that and changing conditions. It has some very good info!

    Crippled Killer? maybe?
  3. Well, it didn't go as planned. I didn't have anything to weigh-in, but I kept fishin hard as ever till the end. I actually caught more fish than a lot of people, but they were all dinks, I couldn't find the bigger ones. 1st place had 14 pounds and a few ounces with a 4 fish limit. It was a very nice tournament though. It was held to benefit a local wrestling team and 2 cancer fundraisers. This was the first year for the tourney, and it drew in 20 boats, some people backed out or a no show. Thanks for the encouragment!
  4. Sounds fun! What kind of atv do you have?
  5. I have a big tourney this Saturday. There was a 3 day tourney there last weekend and it was TOUGH. I talked to many people over the last few days and got some inside info. There is 49 spots, I just registered in spot 33. It starts at 6 a.m. weigh-in at 6 p.m. I know where the fish will be and what they will most likely feed on. The payout is 700$ for 1st. I feel good about it, but I am still uneasy, i've been feelin weird all week. I dont want this to mess me up come Saturday. I think talkin about it may help, I hope.
  6. Who cares bout weight, ;D, they're nice fish no matter what.
  7. This post brought me to think of my ex, I had learned all those words, more, and what they meant, man, was that ever fun. ;D More than once she threatened to break my rod, what worried me was that it would be one of my fishin rods. :-/
  8. I would try topwaters, such as a zara spook, jitterbug, buzzbait, and a frog. If nothing will hit these, then I usually will throw spinnerbaits, jigs, or crankbaits, but especialy spinnerbaits. One with a big colorado blade, black or blue, rattle, and at least 3/8 ounce, I prefer half or better ounce. Make sure it's got a trailer hook!
  9. Not only am I storing these in my favorites, but I am printing them off and putting them into my big book of things to read over and over again. THANK YOU SO SO SO MUCH! Thanks, Ian

While fishing today, I took off my hat and said a prayer. I will never forget that day.
  12. That is some sweeeeet info there, thanks a bunch!
  13. Yes, definately, but do the baitfish move deeper at certain times. I know the bass are with them, but see, if I cant find bass or baitfish at certain times of the year, is there any certain place that I should look?
  14. Dude, thats a sweet vid. Looks like a lot of good memories made!
  15. ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D that is by far the funniest thing i've seen on here
  16. Muddy, I couldn't get the search to work. I'm not very technologically advanced.
  17. Do they move like bass from season to season, or do they have their own patterns? Thanks! Ian
  18. I do really good at night on spinnerbaits and crankbaits. I just never knew if i was fishing structure or not. I can feel bottom and all, but i dont know if maybe there was 2 different weed types, or if it was just open water. That answers my question, thanks! Ian
  19. Ok, so I got a question. At night, in clear water, do bass stay close to cover or do they roam? I was thinkin that because they may stay 6 feet or more away from cover in clear water during the day, then at night, they would roam. Thanks! Ian
  20. Thanks frogtog! I have a gilette fusion with 4 blades, a pack of 4 heads for the dang thing is 22 dollars, thats more than wut i payed for the razor. I went thru a pack a year. Thanks again! Ian
  21. #1- 6,682 #2 - 9,703 i think, the 0 could be any single digit number, the way the problem is worded #3- 32,383 maybe, i think #4- ? I doubt my math skills are that of a 4th grader.
  22. WELCOME TO THE FORUMS!!!!
  23. Largemouth - wacky rigged kinami flash, 5 inch, natural shad Smallmouth - Strike king, Rocket shad, 3/8 ounce, white
  24. I think it may be low levels because of the amount of acid in the rainfall. I wouldn't think that acid would be good for the fish, but I would also think that it would areate the surface of the water like you say, because it inverts it if the rainfall is hard enough, and I think that may also be the reson that fish feed on top more when it's raining, the areated water starts to move down in the water column and the fish search for the fresher water which brings them to the surface. Thats just my thoughts, anyone feel free to correct me. Ian
