Do any of you use something to lay over your rods while they are laying on the deck while fishing, to help protect it from the sun rays? I thought about it. I dont have a rod locker to put the rods I am not using as often in to, or I would do that. What ways do you protect your line from the sun? Thanks a bunch, Ian

Well...there is a cruise ship..and on this cruise ship, there is a pirate and his parrot, they perform magic tricks The parrot knew every trick of the pirates...and he would blurt out the secret to the audience....like..."skwak...it's in his sleeve"--"skwak...it's in his pocket" Well...one day as the pirate was performing a trick and the parrot blurted out the answer...the pirate was MAD So the pirate pulled out his gun...pointed over his shoulder at the parrot and shot...the parrot ducked the bullet..and the bullet hit a propane tank on exploded...killing everyone except the pirate and the parrot So...they are floating on a piece of wood in the water...and the parrot goes....."Ok...I give up...wheres the d@&n ship?" Badger...after research and talking to a lot of people....I did not get to ask the game warden....he would probably confiscate it anyway. I have found many pictures of badger claws on the web and library, it has the characteristics of every description I found. I just don't know how it got there.....they're not supposed to be here...then again...neither are mountain lions. Ian

x2 If it's during spring, summer, and sometimes in the fall, I like something with some action, so plastics, like grubs or Zoom's Speed Craw. Try adding some scent, it cant hurt! Good Luck! Ian

Panfish fries are always fun. Get an ultralight setup, a few small lures, but hooks and nightcrawlers would work well. Find an area with a lot of crappie, perch, and maybe a few pickeral. Take a buddy along, if he doesn't want to keep his catch, you can. You may only catch a few, or you could catch a limit. I'm sure someone has some better ideas though.... Have fun and good luck! Ian
