I need a a new casting reel. I have an opening for two reels, but one would be for a rod i hardly use. there are so many options and Im overwhelmed. I have 218$ but would rather not spend all that. Im a lefty and need help on what to get. want the best deal

Shimano Citica is in a 6.3:1 gear ratio. Considering it for spinnerbaits. I am also considering a Lew's BB2 Wide Speed Spool. Which do you think is better. Might get one of each or two of one. Also comparing it to the Lew's Super Duty for frogs. All same price of 90$

I was looking to buy a new reel last night. it was on clearance at Academy. This morning it was out of stock. I still had it in my cart though. If I buy the reel, will they still send me one? Thanks!

In the Poconos Mountains of Pennsylvania it has been very cold lately. Its been in the low 40s at night and low 60s during the day. Its been like this for two weeks. My lake is 75 acres and a rectangle. its like three 25 acres squares. If you divide the lake like that, The dam is the deep side up to 15', then there is the middle, up to 10' mostly 6-8, and the shallow side, mostly 2, with a channel up to 5' deep. Water clarity is about 3-4' and water is in the 60s i think (best guess). I usually get bit with keiteck=hs, spinnerbaits, and chatter baits during the summer. have had good luck with keitechs in the rain. In the shallows there is some isolated structure that held fish a few weeks ago. it is hard to find with out the sun and bluebird skies at noon. There is also a channel that goes along the middle of the lake shallows to dam thats deeper than the rest of the lake in each area. Where are the fish likely holding?

what do you guys think of a Citica 6.3 for 89 $ vs a curado 201 in ibeleve 6.3 or 7.2 for 110.

I am likely going to be getting my first Lew's Baitcaster. I am between the Lew's Tournament LITE G Speed Spool SLP in a 6.8:1 or a Lew's Superduty in 8:1 or a Lew's BB2 Wide Speed Spool in 7.1:1. Looking to buy two reels, not exactly sure what tactic for, but I may buy two of one or one and one. I'm mostly looking at the Lite, but open to suggestions. Thanks.

I am in need of a new reel. I am between three reels. all are the same price of $90. Lew's Super Duty Speed Spool in 8:1 for frogs and heavy braid stuff Lew's BB2 Wide Speed Spool in 7:1 for plastics and topwater/ all around Abu Garcia Revo Sx in 6.4:1 for square bills and spinnerbaits I am also considering a 6.3:1 Shimano Cruado 200, but it is $117 was thinking one of each of the Lew's reels
