  3. Where in SEPA are you located?
  4. what rods are you selling? i may be interested.
  5. I had a replacement sent to me. It was a double foot guide. i used sandpaper to remove the resin and put electrical tape on the blank next to the resin to prevent damage. next i wrapped the guide in small thread. I used electoral tape afterwords. i recommend gluing and wrapping it tightly. not a great fix, but its quick and cheap and temporary.
  6. I have a tail ct, zillion tws, and arachnid, all three are awesome. believe it or not the arachnid cast the best. Not sure why i can't get the zillion to cast that far, its also not as good with the light stuff. for 300$ id expect better. The reel does fell much more solid though.
  7. I have been looking on craigslist all over the country and make offers to people if they will ship. maybe ill get lucky sooner or later...

  9. Well it seems i may be wrong! and not in a bad way...
  10. was thinking of getting that for christmas and getting another reel, I'm really undecided though...
  11. I hear they don't cast to far, that is the Curados...
  12. Looking for a new reel. I have reels as low as 6.3:1. I do have a 7'1" M Mod cranking rod though. Was thinking of this reel for crankbaits. What other lures would work with a 5.5:1? Keitechs swimbaits? Small spinnerbaits? Squarebills and mod depth cranks.
  13. Could I change the gear ratio of a 5.5:1 JDM Engetsu?
  14. Now I'm thinking a JDM Shimano Engetsu but it is only a 5.5:1
  15. I just won another tournament today. I am finally ready to buy my first shimano baitcaster. I have about $175 to spend. I have two casting rods that need reels. I regularly switch reel on my rods based on the conditions. I have two of the same 6'6" MH Falcon Buccoo micros, and there is a person selling two lightly used Shimano Casitas USDM in 6.3:1. Would these be good for spinnerbaits and moving baits? I am mostly a left hand retrieve angler, but i also found a 2012 Shimano Aldebaren BFS in a right hand. I also like the shimano scorpion and chronarch mg. might get that later to put on another rod for swimbaits and jerk baits though. So am i better off with 2 casitas or one aldebaren? i have one caster i can't really use/ don't use, so i might want to try that?
  16. If you're on a budget, don't use a high end reel, EVER! you will regret that choice for a while. or should i say your bank account will. (ask me)
  17. Ford F-150 No, my dad backs the trailer in, while I am in the boat or on the shore. I do have waders and bring them in the winter. thanks for the advice!
  18. Where are the sales in kmart found? went the other day with no luck...
  19. When I first started fishing, i thought i needed a nice rod, not reel. when unexperienced anglers ask you "what rod is that" they usually mean reel too, but don't realize that they are costly as well. I bought that first spinning combo for 150$ it was a 100$ rod and 50$ reel. Now, I believe everyone needs at least one good setup. 1 really good spinning setup. Mine is 50/50 both 230-250$s each. I also think that people should get a rod at least 100$. Reels have more parts and are more costly. casting reels should be around 100-150 as a minimum. More sensitive rods for techniques like dragging that need it.
  20. Great idea, i have a tournament this weekend and was panicking about what to do, this will fix it!
