Difference between Shakey Head and Ned Rig
I only fish ned rigs in lakes that are really clear and have lots of fish; therefore, i use small sizes with floating baits. i usually let it fall to the bottom. the fall is when they strike. if not, slow reel to the boat. i also like to ned rig grubs. great reeling action. Also, it is a phenomenal bed fishing rig. that is when i call it the bed rig not ned

Costa Del Mar
thanks for the help. they actually fit pretty well, Just a tad but big. I got them because they were only 60$ each and i needed new goggles. The lenses are huge, making it easier to use my peripheral vision.

Costa Del Mar
Received my Costa 400G Green Mirror Hamlin's today. Still waiting on the Blue Mirror ones. First impressions were ok, they are really big, but fit well when pulled tight to my face. the large lenses allow me to see with no restrictions, but they make me look like a bug. Also the Green Mirror lenses are not really a mirror, you can still see in through the glasses. Might try to get a Cost Strap (https://www.costadelmar.com/us/en/men/clothing-and-accessories/gifts-and-accessories/costa-strap/STRAP.html?dwvar_STRAP_color=BLK&cgid=mens-clothing-accessory) to keep them tight on my face. If i am not impressed by the Blue Mirror ones, I may go to the store and try on the Rooster. Would get one in Blue and in Green. Are 580G more of a mirror? Why don't the green mirror seem like a true mirror, when i look at other people with blue costas, they are very reflective? Is having a bigger sense worth the looser fit? Should i return the Hamlin's? Do you think the rooster would be better? Anything else?

Quick Question?
I guess the problem really comes into view when the plastic is used, then cut off and placed into the original packaging, or any other sealed packaging for that matter, while wet, allowing the salt and water to create rust on the hook.

Quick Question?
do your hooks get rusted like mine do?

Storing Plastics
Awesome just realized that too! I read it also helps to keep scent in. I don't want any water anywhere its not supposed to be. I guess i don't want heavy boxes, but id rather them be sturdy, and these stay n the boat

Storing Plastics
As some of you may know, I am in the process of planning a complete tackle revamp. Part of this process includes a change in the way i store my soft plastics. Currently I am using the bag system. I keep all my plastics in their original packaging (like green pumpkin yum dingers). I then group the plastics together those go into a quart sized bag (like 5" Senkos). I then put all lures in that category into a gallon sized bag (like Senkos). after i do this to all my plastics. I put them all into a reusable grocery bag or a big box. That is my current method. It is very compact, which is a big advantage of this method. the downside is the amount of time wasted digging through 5 bags to get one particular bait out. That is why I would like to change things up. My plan is to go trays that allow me to keep my baits in their original packaging, yet still have them easily accessible. I really like the Plano 3731; however, it is not waterproof. I have been fishing a lot in the rain recently and my stuff has been getting wet. It is not the end of the world, but id like to find a way to store my plastics in a waterproof, yet convenient fashion. I like how i can store 2 rows of plastics in each tray. I will then put my boxes into a Bass Pro Shops Utility Box Carrier. I will also be using one for my tackle as well. Does anybody know of a box like the 3731 that is waterproof? Any body know the best way to store Keitech Swing Impact Fats? Thanks

Changing Trebles
my thoughts exactly owners are best but costly i am on budget but want best bang for buck, which is likely the kvd by mustard

Your Tungsten Weight Inventory?
thats my thoughts exactly, i don't use the big weights but its good to have em when you need em then to not!

Your Tungsten Weight Inventory?
I fish in states that allow lead and some that don't. When i can I want to use tungsten. In some places that i fish, using tungsten is too expensive because I frequently break off. That is where i will use lead. For example the drop shot.

Your Tungsten Weight Inventory?
Think id be ok with 12 or so of what ill use most and 4 or so of what ill use less?

Your Tungsten Weight Inventory?
How many tungsten weights do you carry at a time? Looking to switch to mainly tungsten. I use drop shot weights, flip and worm weights

Quick Question?
Just like in saltwater right? I was thinking that too. When I first stated fishing, I watched a youtube video by 1 rod 1 reel where he would keep all his baits pre rigged. in response i did that too. looks like that will have to change. Also is it ok if all my soft plastics are wet?
-
Quick Question?
Do you guys keep your hooks in your soft plastics when you are done fishing for the day? Also what about trailers? I fish a lot of Keitechs, which are very soft and for this reason I keep them rigged, but I've been experiencing rust.

Unconfident baits
I have good luck with the chatter bait around wood and above grass flats especially. it is a lot like the spinnerbait, which went from being my least confident lure to one of my most. I am no longer confident with a senko, even though thats how i learned to fish. I also have no bottom contact confidence, seeing that id rather throw a drop shot and cover more water with better results than most other stuff
