  2. My boat has several leaking rivets. It is only a small deal, so I don't really care about fixing the individual ones. I did use jb weld marine and that helped. Looking for a solution that can go over the entire inside of the boat. Like a truck bed liner or something. Lastly, i may want to add truck bed liner on the outside for durability. what do you suggest?
  3. I am redoing my 14' Hull this year. Want to do it right and make it last. Looking to start with my trailer this weekend. It is a little bit rusted, and I don't want it to spread. I also want it to look nice. It is a Shoreland'r trailer with rollers. How can I seal the metal? Was thinking of truck bed liner or some type of chip and fade resistant paint. What do you think?
  4. Looking at the ZOLO and IKOS. 7' M fast. is the solo that much better? thanks!
  5. moderate gives better action, but can't be worked as fast. fast action is good for working the bait faster. the rod is less forgiving. I like a shorter handle, and a rod thats short enough not to hit the water.
  6. Punching, Texas rig, and frog are all great ideas. I like a 1 oz tungsten weight, a skirt of your choice, a 4/0 flip hooks and a beaver style bait. Texas rig use a 4/0 superline egg, a 3/8 oz weight and a 7.5" worm. frogs, I like live target, but any one will do. Swim jigs like the strike king heavy cover will work. I use a keitech trailer on mine.
  7. is there a free trial?
  8. Update: I contacted the property manager of the property in a friendly and appreciative manner. They were happy to help and I was then connected to the next person in the line. Hopefully this works out. I know the potential of these places...
  9. nah fam Yes, like i said they work at both, so do coupons, same company different name i bought a rod from f+s with a diks coupon and gift card
  10. I guess you never know unless you try...
  11. Nothin' but a couple days spent in jail that could of been spent on the water...just kidding
  12. Dicks and Field & Stream are both part of the same parent company, coupons and gift cards work at the same places. I like that they have more stuff at the actual stores than cabala's. If you like ima, they have regular sales. Its a good store!
  13. I have been looking at several corporate centers with their quarries, lakes, and ponds for potential fishing holes. I asked to fish at one place and they said no, because of liability issues. I was wondering if I typed up a waiver that would void them of all liability claims, would I be allowed to fish there. Trespassing to fish is not a good idea because I don't want to go to jail or get arrested. So, can I make a waiver and get it signed? How can I gain access to private corporate center waters? Do the corporate centers own the waters? Thanks.
  14. Thanks for taking the time to post all of this. It is greatly appreciated. Does the durability of Zman's baits help with not being able to pack lots of stuff when you're really on em?
  15. Updates? I bought five spinnerbaits and two lipless.
  16. Anybody use the Zoom Salty Super Tubes? I am thinking of trying watermelon red, green pumpkin, and rootbeer in 3.75"
  17. lab, no rough patch spots or jawline
  18. Thanks! I will be giving those a try. are you using weedless ned rig hooks?
  19. Haha I meant types of lures, that would require 30 setups, also way too expensive for me.
  20. looking to start fishing tubes in some of the quarries and hard-bottom northern lakes I fish. What colors work best in clear water? I am assuming a realistic color. What tubes work well in 4-6 feet of visibility. Maybe a little darker? What tube brands work best? What jigs? Not looking to spend much, maybe like 15-20 $ for tubes and jigs. What weight jigs too? What technique? When do I fish a tube? Anything else? Thanks!
  21. Snow Day! I had nothing else to do, and we had a day off, so why not!
  22. I like the thought of having enough rods to not have to retie every time you want to throw a new lure, but having 30 rods is pointless to me, i barely have 30 lures to begin with...
