  1. First confidence bait was a Texas rigged senko with an 1/8 oz bullet weight unpegged. Current confidence bait is probably a finesse jig if around cover, wacky rig senko if not.
  2. Did you end up going to patoka? If so, how'd you do?
  3. I was always so confused by wrb, then your signature would be Tom. I though what the heck those cant be his initials if his name is Tom lol
  4. I like the san Diego jam for treble hook baits with my copolymer. Single hook baits I use a Palomar. Could also look at the double san Diego jam for lines under 15lb test. After that it gets to be a cumbersome knot.
  5. We had a breakdown at work so I wasn't able to go this morning. Maybe I'll try after work tonight.
  6. topwater is my 2nd least favorite way to fish...I'm weird I know
  7. I plan to go in the morning for maybe 45 before heading home from work. All I grabbed was the dreaded frog rod.
  8. Yum f2 craw chunk. Crazy action on the fall and cheap
  9. I use color more as an indicator as to what pound test it is. Hi vis green 50lb, mossgreen 30lb, and ocean blue 15lb. I use moss green p-line cxx copolymer as a leader.
  10. I had a sig 938, 9mm it was one of the most accurate pistols I had shot until I bought my glock 17. The sig 238, .380 is the same gun just smaller and a smaller caliber. It's pricey for a subcompact, but worth it with the build quality of sigs
  11. Awfully quiet...nobody having any luck? I hope to get out sunday, to prides creek but another 65 hour work week may say different.
  12. Casting reel I reel right handed, spinning I reel left handed.
  13. Looks like a hairclip with hooks...
  14. That's what we use to wash our towels in the washing machine the first time we wash them. We also use it when our front load washer starts not smelling so fresh, so i Wouldn't think it would
  15. Maybe scrub it with distilled vinegar?
  16. I haven't found an instance where a knockoff is better, maybe just as good But not better.
  17. Forsure! I believe I paid 27 for mine with 4 3600 boxes.
  18. I have hit the point of "enough is enough" for me. I know what I like to throw and what works in the water I fish. I dont get out as much as I would like with working 60hrs a week and with a baby on the way. I de-cluttered earlier in the year and stocked my stepdaughter and wife's tacklebox and they were tickled pink...til a box came in the mail from tackle warehouse. Lol. I'm done buying until I run low on something.
  19. I'm with @A-Jay would love to see that @WRB
  20. That's the bag I have. You have more in there than I lol
  21. I'm with him, besides the fact that they have a fish tank, bass pro is useless to me. Too expensive and the workers there know little about anything.
  22. Keep us posted on what you get! I'm sure you'll love it!
  23. Shorter rod and slower gear ratio on your wife's set up. You just worked the worm slower with her set up. Slow down a bit and I bet the bites stay even.
  24. I have a bps bag. It's very large. It has 8 3600 size boxes. Jigs, trailers, flipping baits, deep water plastics, square bills, deep divers, jerkbaits/lipless cranks, and terminal tackle. Plus extra reel, spool of line, pliers, clippers, binder full of spinnerbaits, chatterbaits, 1/2 gallon freezer bag of senkos, sandwich bag of finesse worms and a cherry on top! Lol. I always take it with me when I go fishing, but sometimes if I know what the bite is or what it should be I'll only grab my pliers and a 3600 size box and toss some terminal tackle in there and leave the rest in my truck. Do I need all that tackle with me when bank fishing? probably not. But is it nice having the tools needed to get the job done when I figure out what the pattern isn't? Heck yeah it is
