Elites coming to my backyard again
BASS decided to screw all the loyal fans of BASS live and sold out to FOX So now they get exclusive coverage of the morning shows. I complained so much to the text number they blocked me Thats the damiki presentation down here. The fish suspend off of the bottom alot when its cold and they wont chase anything They could suspend 6inches but you wont get bit fishing anything on the bottom My best luck is letting it drop and holding it right above them Less movement the better Problem is the boredom and almost doing a header into the drink when you doze off

BPT Redcrest Lake Eufaula Feb 22-26
I saw him at a fishing show once and he was talking to a couple people about learning from the fish you catch. He said," you should be able to give a book report on every fish you've caught; the fish are telling you everything you need to know, but are you listening?" Presentation: slow, fast, in between? How deep? Was it a flat, point, hump, channel bend? What water temp? Air temp? Sunny? Cloudy? Wind direction? Low or high pressure? Bottom compositon? Weeds? What kind? Rocky bottom? Boulders, Chunks, gravel? He's like the redneck version of Aaron Martens

Photos never lie or check your scale
Be thankful @jbsoonerfan, be thankful. To me at least the googans(group) have the young and still immature lame excuse to fall back on. milliken's the mid thirties guy, still trying to be 19 and cool Both internet fishing successes and very good at what they do on youtube

What Determines C-Rig Leader Length ?
Rate of fall is usually the deciding factor for me. A longer leader allows for a slower rate of fall after the sinker hits. This varies on what type of plastic you stick on the back as well. I fished against a couple of brothers that used them all the time But they casted them out and slowly reeled them along the bottom and always used less than a foot They were very successful too

The Natural Progression of a Basshead ~ One Man’s Point of View
I'm stage 4 all the way I have very little chance of breaking my personal best LMB or SMB on my home lake. (Actually, I fish chickamauga a few times a year and have never broke 7lbs. I have caught 10 bass between 6 3/4 and 7 lbs though <crying jordan meme>) However, with 880 shoreline miles on my home lake, I have no shortage of shallow water targets Plus being here in TN, I can start catching topwater consistently as early as late Feb Often I am in less than 5 feet of water, which leads to a lot of aerial acrobatics 2 straight years my most memorable fish were ones that I never had hooked They both came up and smashed the lure right at the boat just as I was pulling it out of the water Those got my heart pumping!! I used to fish a lot of tournaments - multiple trails per year + bfls as both boater and co angler + charity events and tuesday and thursday night dogfights. Now I fish a handful of tournaments a year and I'm ok with that. I realized it was always a competition against the fish and I dont need other anglers for that

If You Could Have Only 1 Rod And Reel
- If You Could Have Only 1 Rod And Reel
If you could only have 1 Rod and 1 Reel..... Does that mean the other Googans were already picked?- Winter boredom kicking in now
Thats an impressive line up!!- Post a photo a day!
Caught about of 20 of these guys fishing a marina 30-40 feet deep, couldn't get bit unless it was pink. Ran out of pink flukes and had to use the tails of trick worms. Never used pink before moving to TN, but it is always tied on winter thru early spring- What’s the lightest braid I can spool on baitcast reel?
Something about digging in? I use 20lb and have no issues other than operator error. - If You Could Have Only 1 Rod And Reel
