  1. This is my set up and I have a spare in the boat too A couple times I have had to use the second lure retriever to get the first
  2. I have a strikepro hunchback and it's a very good bait 15 dollar range
  3. Learning about seasonal bass patterns was a huge turning point for my fishing success When I made the transition to searching for active fish instead of trying to trick every fish in the lake my success also increased All things you discuss in the The Cosmic Clock and Bass Behavior https://fishinpedia.com/cosmic-clock-bass-behavior-tom-young/
  4. I'm gonna sneak out for a few hours each morning, the 5:30-9:30 range I'm lucky to have a few places to put in that are not ramps, so I can miss that hot mess!! I feel bad for you guys up north, but its already too crowded down here so you might as well stay up there.?
  5. Never had allergies until moving to TN I was told to find a local source of honey and start adding it to my daily diet. Allegedly, this will build a tolerance for your local pollen producing plants. I'm giving it a try but in the meantime use Zyrtec
  6. Any luck around those? Anytime I've seen them in a lake they drew baitfish.
  7. I've eaten quite a bit of ice cream over the years Now I'm more than 30 minutes from a dairy queen, so I cry a lot Then I found this delicious concoction for a brief time, but that too is gone
  8. I like throwing a buzzbait in the rain
  9. I've gotten up at 2am so I could fish Guntersville in the morning Currently I get up at 4:30ish , my first casts are predawn
  10. Dont forget the East Tn favorite - Holler which is usually followed by someone pointing somewhere and telling you a story from a time back of this and they will throw in a hellfire for good measure
  11. Cant believe I haven't seen this yet on this carp thread
  12. Justin Lucas is entertaining If he aint winning, he's close to having a melt down
  13. hahahahaa seems like I bring everyone else luck planning a few trips for this fall, Let's do it!!
  14. Was at a lake and two guys were fishing under the bridge and they had a mess of huge crappie They had the helicopter on a ned looking hook and just dropped them down besides the pillars
  15. Mine is Chickamauga. I've been going several times a year for about 10 years now looking for something over 7 I've broken off half a dozen that would have been close if not over I broke a rod at the boat and had a handle on the net snap on 2 other fish During this same time I have been in the boat when 4 fish over 10 have been caught I've got a pretty good nemesis
  16. I imagine anything these 2 doing together would be hilarious. a cooking show, movie reviews, go-kart racing ... ... ....
  17. Fishing after a spraying has always been tough for me. 5lbs to win means it was tough on almost everyone or you were fishing the Ohio river lol This is how the tourney addiction begins moving to stage 2 Once you hit stage 3, you'll find yourself fishing tourneys in various leagues, weekends, weeknights, 4 hour shoot outs ... it's really amazing how many fishing tournaments there are
  18. I have caught some larger fish but thats because of 2 trips to Chickamauga. Still somewhat of a disappointment because I'm trying for something over 7 for about 10 years now
  19. I watched the one where he was driving in the ocean and when he bought the general lee and now he keeps showing up in recommended. Each thumbnail is something destroyed
  20. I dont know about indestructible, That fool WhistlinDiesel just got one.
  21. Blue bird skies and no wind = nap time ... I mean drop shot
  22. Hope you put this on ohiogamefishing.com as you'll get more local support. As a former resident of that state for about 35 years, nothing could get me to move back. I dont care if the Browns, Indians and the Cavs all win championships. Too many hopes, karens and too much bureaucracy around tiny insignificant issues, when there is a huge drug problem, way too many homeless people and kids on the streets going hungry. I signed but Shaker Heights says it all to anyone who knows that area.
