  1. Still plenty of upside to the Stock as an aside to the topic!! BPS going bankrupt, only if the owner have no clue as to what managers are doing and I doubt Mr. Morris is naive enough to let that happen.
  2. I have a Remington Model 700 XCR Compact Tactical in .308 and love it, shooting 1.25" groups at 200 yards ;D You can't go wrong with a bolt action in my book and of your list the Remington 700 SPS is tops. I would lean to the 7mm-08 personally, but the 30-06 is a great round too!!
  3. Impractical because of greed... I was just going by the doctor's opinion. See quote below: The transplant appeared to wipe out both diseases, giving hope to doctors, but Dr. Anthony Fauci, director of the National Institutes of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, who has been studying HIV/AIDS for almost 30 years, said while this is an interesting proof of concept, it's absurdly impractical. It's hard enough to get a good compatible match for a transplant like this, Fauci , But you also have to find compatible donor that has this genetic defect, and this defect is only found in 1 percent of the Caucasian population and zero percent of the black population. This is very rare. Not really sure where greed plays a part?
  4. Bur Ley...BUr..LEy...BUR..LEY...rooting for you to pull through here!!
  5. Interesting articles, too bad its totally impractical according to the first article.
  6. http://news.yahoo.com/s/afp/20101215/od_afp/russiamilitaryfashionoffbeat !!Too funny!!
  7. Robert may want to give them a call about the quality control on those overpriced rods or just rethink you quality vs. price paradigm...all kidding aside yes you can weld titanium, I was obsessed with mountain biking few years back and owned an all titanium Titus mountain bike and broke the frame at a weld, local shop would not touch it, but had a marine welder that worked with titanium fix it and it came out great.
  8. Same thing goes with cars, they kill more people than anything around, just not as graphic. People tend to do really irrational things while driving on a daily basis and end up killing people due to irrational behavior. I say we all become pedestrians ;D to avoid people being killed by irrational car owners.
  9. Want to head to the Geneva Auto Show in March? Pretty cool car, 700HP, pushrod suspension, and faster and better handling than the MP4-12C and the 458? That is to be determined, but at 700 HP with a F1 style pushrod suspension its no contest!!!
  10. So basically they are competing directly with Large Mouth and Peacock Bass, not good. I would rather catch a Peacock or Largemouth bass over a Snakehead, so in my book Snakeheads are bad for the fishery!!
  11. Jimbo still has an advantage in recruiting FSU played better this year than UF and UM, thus attracting recruits and should have an advantage over new "unproven" head coaches, albeit he has only held the position a year. Not really a Miami fan, but if you think the program is in shambles and it will take years, don't forget that UM was ranked this year and if it wasn't for Shannon I believe they could have made a run at the ACC championship or at least been a top 20 program. Plus he had plenty of top 10 rival recruiting classes while he was there. With the talent pool in S. FLA its going to be tough to be bad if you have decent head coaching. I say in about 2 years, Florida schools will be on the top 10 of BCS, between UM, UF, and FSU, sorry GA, AL, LA, TN, and SC, you guys don't have the in state talent, shoot even UCF a second rung school is ranked!! Don't you miss FSU, UM and UF being national championship contenders on a regular basis?
  12. Ding ding ding!! Why would they pass on Tommy from Tech, makes no sense!!
  13. Ummmm, easy feat, I'm a Nole, so beating up on the Gators is fun!! Plus aren't the Buckeye's #2 or 3 in the country, are the Gators even ranked?
  14. South FLA replied to Sam's topic in Everything Else
Fellow Nole, Lee Corso, is going to be missed for not only his knowledge of the game, but his wild and crazy ANTICS!
  15. The "King" is finally living where and how a "King" should. Wonder if he would let me park my flats boat off the nice teak dock he has? http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/blog/ball_dont_lie/post/Pictures-of-LeBron-James-pretty-amazing-Miami-m?urn=nba-294648
  16. Sorry to hear about the family's loss. I would wait a while before getting another dog for your parents though. Good luck.
  17. The "U" passes on Tommy Tuberville to pick up a Temple Coach? Yes, Al Golden years have arrived for UM fans, good luck with that. Tommy a BIG NAME COACH FROM A GREAT BIG NAMED PROGRAM would have been a better choice, but that is just my opinion. The Gator nation and athletic director were quick to act and hired Texas coach in waiting Will Muschamp, a MUCH better decision then UM's choice. With that said, I am still a NOLE fan at heart and can't wait to see how the Noles do this year recruiting some Florida high school studs, good luck UM and Gator fans, Jimbo is a hell of a recruiter.
  18. Let's be honest here, the Dolphins don't own the Jets, but with that said, the Jets should have two loses to the Dolphins this season not just one loss. During the Dolphins home game two major call blunders basically gave the Jets a victory, the most notable being a pass interference that wasn't on third and longggggg. With that said, the Dolphins are a very average team that can't find a way to win at home even if it was given to them (Steelers, another bad call with the fumble that was, but really wasn't because the Pennsylvanian ref that oversaw the replay could not decisively say who recovered the ball in the end zone, although from EVERY angle it appeared that Dolphin defenders were all over it). So the Phins and the Jets, very average teams should be right behind the division clinching Patriots in a tight race for the first loser. The conference champion in my book is still looking like the Ravens, sorry Pat's fans.
  19. !Read these articles! http://myfwc.com/docs/WildlifeHabitats/Nonnative_FW_Snakehead.pdf http://www.floridawildlifemagazine.com/pdfs/may08-peacockBass.pdf
  20. Was out this morning taking some cast around my neighborhood canal and saw floating peacock bass :-[, thought most if not all were wiped last Winter, but apparently not. The nail in the coffin maybe this front coming through on Sunday, temps in the mid 30's predicted in most of Palm Beach County with highs in the mid 50's for 3 days, not good for tropical Peacocks!! Water temperature was in the mid 50s, and they start stressing out and dying when temps dip below 60!!
  21. My wife thinks I'm completely nuts...get up at 4:00AM in all kinds of nasty weather (hot, cold, wind, rain) to go chase a little green fish. And then you throw it back???? George, I was getting frost alerts on my cell phone for Fellsmere this AM. I'm anxious to see how your shiner bite on "Lake J" holds up. Always look forward to reading your reports... Mike, Duck hunting will put you in the insane realm!! George, Should this trigger the spawn up there in Stick Marsh or what?
  22. Anyone every watch that show on Discovery called "Life on the Line?" Its about long-liners and how they fish for swordfish, anyway every once and a while they catch a tuna and the fisherman start jumping up and down because of money it fetches the crew. I saw an episode where they actually rate the Tuna and base price per pound on it not just overall weight of fish. Interesting stuff.
  23. If we just went to the Latin Naming System that already exist, the doubt would be gone.......YEAH RIGHT! The pick you first showed looks like a lepomis cyanellus (<---use google images) and see what they look like compared to your pic. a ambloplites rupestris, also google images, is not what you caught, although I can see the confusion.
