Bird Dog, Have you ever hunted/owned with a Vizsla? In about a year or 2, when the kid gets older, I am thinking of getting one or a GSP, being in Florida all I really do is duck and dove hunt with the occasional quail thrown in. Considering Vizsla since they are a bit smaller in frame then the GSP.

Most were morning doves, but it could have easily gone towards the collared doves as the day progressed, we just stopped shooting. Total count was over 100 birds and about 25% were collared. I think as you get closer to urban areas the collared doves are more prevalent.

Yeah, Florida is a bit different. I think all were resident birds, can't wait until the migratory birds fly in.

Had a blast on opening day, everyone hit the limit of Mourning dove, 15, and started shooting Eurasian Collared Doves an invasive species, as they flew in later to feed!!

Its a shame this article is not in the National spotlight!

Water and whatever is on sale at the local supermarket usually sits in my cooler, the other day the ran a 10 for 10 buck of the 32oz Gator Aid and I loaded up. Also, like Power Aid and use Powertrip shots for energy, best tasting power drink out there IMO!

Might have rained some, but wait until the watersheds start draining down into the Lake should peek in about a week or so. My buddy went out and tore them up more than 75 fish in two sessions, biggest went over 8lb, lots of 2-4lbs!!! Wanted to go this weekend, but its opening day of DOVE season!!

Dale, Nice very NICE!! I have dibs on the SOW BELLY, I spotted that monster at the beginning of Summer and I have to compare notes with Mike to see its the same one. ;D Went to Okee Tantie this past Sunday and it was a dink fest, before the T Storms had me running to shore. Managed to dodge them but not until running my boat in a 3 foot chop for about 5 miles outrunning them, it ain't fun and my kidneys feel it.
