Lox Refuge ?s
Is there a reason Lee Rd. boat ramp was chosen? Although, its the furthest for me I would rather take off or meet at Boca's Loxahatchee Rd. ramp.

Bayliner Bass Boats
Didn't want to chime in, but now that you decided against it might as well have some fun. Bayliner boats are seen often down here in Florida and the inside joke on them in the "marine industry" is the are called Bayliner for a reason...............................................................................................They are found lining the bottom of the bay ;D

TD Zillion: overkill for fishing mostly plastics?
Just go all out and buy this: http://www.japantackle.com/Daiwa_reels/Daiwa_Zillion_HLC.htm All kidding aside I love my Zillion, I also love my Curado, JDM Core, Chronarch, and Abu Revo Skeet Reese. For T-Rigging, I really like the Core or Chronarch since in my opinion they seem smoother. The Zillion is a great reel and you can't go wrong, but bang for the buck I think the Curado wins hands down.

Everstart Marine Maxx group 29s (VRLA or Not?)
When i worked at Walmart there was a three year warranty on Everstart max marine battery's. They throw it on there tester if theres a bad cell they will replace it. -matt- Bought my batteries back in 07/2008 and at that time it was an 18 month replacement and up to 24 month prorate. I know some guys really "abused" the system at Wal-Mart by taking back perfectly good batteries right as they were about to eclipse the no questions asked warranty period, but I figure its not worth the trouble. I think Wal-Mart wised up and stopped it. By the way Johnson Control's makes my Everstart Marine Maxx.

Everstart Marine Maxx group 29s (VRLA or Not?)
Thanks all, Makes me love my AGM battery more, its a major pain removing those HEAVY batteries from trays so I can pop the caps, but for the $$$ I should not be complaining.

Everstart Marine Maxx group 29s (VRLA or Not?)
Have a couple of Everstart Marine Maxx group 29s that I use for running my trolling motor, but by looking at them it appears that the caps don't pull off since they are recessed into the battery, are they a VRLA battery or can I try to pry the recessed cell tops off to check fluid level?

Night time bassin!
The heat is so oppressive lately, I decided to do a little night time bass fishing with my buddy Brett. Had a great outing landed 30 bass from 11:30-1 A.M. on Horny Toads, Ribbits, and Bronzeye poppers. Majority liked the swimming frogs, but a couple hit the Spro. Brett had an amazing blow-up about 5 feet from the boat and in the excitement he pulled it away too quickly. Bugs were INSANE, but I swear that 3M's Ultrathon and ThermaCell kept them off us! Below is the biggest of the night.

FIshing for trophies
Bassmaster had an article awhile back on some regular Joe that caught XXX amount of bass over 10lbs. His formula was vacationing in Florida, fishing trophy factory Lakes (Toho, Stick Marsh, Etc.) and using BIG SHINERS!!! Cheater

Lake Okeechobee is HOT!
x2 I may have to sneak up there and toss a UM sticker on your car windshield or something. Yeah, its been a rough time for me for some years now, but we have Jimbo now and he seems to be righting the ship. I know UM has won 2 of last 3, but I know, and everyone with some football sense knows ;D, Ponder is better than Jacory! As for Gator fans they still have a great team and should be in the hunt, but I see Brantley as a so-so talent. What happen to y'all in baseball and basketball this past season? Thought so! FSU will need some time to get back to winning shape before they skewer ibis and eat gator tail for lunch.

Lake Okeechobee is HOT!
Went out today and did well, bite slowed down after 9 as usual and made a few cast on outside weedline for schoolers with some success, wind chopped up lake pretty good, made if fun running on the outside, felt like I was on a JET SKI! Caught about 25 fish, missed a big'un on a Spro in the slop, here a couple of the nicer ones I caught:

Who is TCU
They need to play FSU this Wednesday as part of the double elimination format. Hopefully, the Noles can send them packing, but if they play Matt Purke, the Noles may be headed back to Tally, he is one AWESOME pitcher.

Locking up your Boat
Chaining trailer it to cement pad with rebar reinforcement is the best option. My friend that lives in Miami has his boat in his driveway with ridiculous cruise ship anchor chains securing his Contender and no takers yet, which in Miami is a miracle.

Live Well Draining
Depends on your system. What boat are you running? Usually the manufacture has a PDF on their website on livewell usage.

Rapala DT Series
What is your opinion on Rapala's DT Series cranks. What line diameter are you running to hit its advertised number? Do you like the Sureset hooks? Thanks in advance!
