I've seen comfortroll installed on a 185vs ttp://www.comfortroll.com. They bored a hole for the drain tube in the center compartment so it doesn't get water in compartment as tray goes into compartment a bit. Overall it was a nice install and worked well.

To clear things up I think iGFA should have an "open class" world record and limited class. Open class would consist of any fish caught outside there native habitat or a fish that was purposely given a genetic or environmental advantage. Limited class would consist of fish caught in there natural habitat without any direct or indirect help from human intervention. California, Japan, and Texas have a great advantages due to a combination of forage base, water temp, and genetic improvement measures. Its like using Steroids in the Olympics, yes the runners who used them won the medal or broke the time record, but and this is one big but...............it doesn't count "officially" Let the Flames begin!!!

I have noticed if I really don't clean the bearing out entirely adding oil, slows the spool down during cast. So when doing reel maintenance I go through a 3 step process. 1. Remove bearings from reel. Clean thoroughly with a soft bristle brush and water based degreaser. 2. Soak in acetone overnight or if I am in a rush 2 hours, use "air in a can" to blow out bearing, wipe clean with micro cloth and air dry until completely dry. 3. Oil lightly with a drop of high quality oil, I like Shimano's or Daiwa's factory lube, have tried other lubes like Rocket Fuel and Rem Oil, but didn't notice improved casting performance.

My family members in Cuba fish the "prensas" (reservoirs), when they can risking imprisonment to catch fish to eat! Yes people catch bass in Cuba to EAT, to h**l with the sport fishing when you need to eat something other than government rationed food to get by. Natives have very "primitive" fishing tackle since they can't run down to the local Wall-Mart and buy fishing tackle, not even Zebco, oops I mean QUANTUM ;D. Now if you are a tourist in Cuba sport fishing is like heaven, Snook fishing especially, saltwater fishing is spectacular and overshadows freshwater fishing, but Lake Hannabanilla and ZaZa are the top lakes. I remember as a kid watching a Jimmy Houston show where he went to Cuba to fish and caught the largest bass in his life at the time. Not sure if he has caught, bigger, but must be pretty impressive fishing.

I've been a self-sufficient fisherman since about 5-6. Would run down to the local park right after school with mom and she would just sit there as I caught bluegill, bass, specs, cats, etc. Remember one time when my uncle thought I was full of it since he could not believe that I could do it on my own, so I ran down to the park and loaded up on bluegills for a fish fry, made a believer out of him since he helped me clean the fish after! So I guess I am going on 31 years now!

Senko, Stick-O, Wave, Zero, etc. Are all AWESOME soft plastic lures and can be worked and rigged just about anyway. If you don't have them you are missing out! Caught my biggest bass on one and will continue to use them for producing numbers or quality. My go to lure is the one that is producing, so its not always the case, but to answer your question, I am a Senko or Senko imitator fan!!

I'd say anything over 2 1/2lbs is not a dink anything under is, when it comes to S. Florida Largemouth.

Want to add that using Marine Tex below water line for fiberglass chips is another great option.

Buying new is not a "smart option" Motor brands all have certain issues, just surf brand specific user forums and they can usually tell you what particular models to avoid, that being said I am Yamaha fan. Also, make sure you do a compression test of the motor and it never hurts to check lower unit oil for contamination. Also, try to by a boat with its max recommended HP rating on it. Make sure you look at accessories, are they in good shape, up to date? If you save on a stripped down boat just to add brand new accessories are you really getting a good value? As far as brand, many options to choose from. Good thing about a major cookie cutter or high quality niche manufacturer is that they are still around to provide you with support. Basscat, Ranger, Triton, and Skeeter are all great boats so you can't go wrong, you'll be glad you are on the water. Also, forgot to mention the trailer, make sure the trailer is in good working order especially hubs, tires and suspension. It can get pricey repairing a trailer.

I was one the one that stated he was all washed up and illustrated the point by posting the AOY points race at the time when everyone was asking what happened to KVD, I believe he was out of the top 25. Nevertheless, he is the best professional angler today, FLW or BASS, but until he eclipses Roland Martin he is still second best of all time. KVD is the Tiger to Roland's Jack!

I know for a fact the Yamaha use to build smaller engines for Merc, so if you are plugging Merc might as well say good job Yammy! I have a 1998 Evinrude that would always start and had a hard time starting after sitting a bit, turned out to be water in the fuel. I would get some fresh fuel and use max dosage of Sea Foam and run the motor for a bit around the lake at WOT.

Keep throwing that Spro and PB will be broken at record rates ;D!
