  1. Dang, how do you guys rate with your 20% off? 😅 Sadly, the rod I want is out of stock, which is also an Expride. What did you buy? This is what I got in my email.
  2. I think I buy enough and mine says 15%. (with the 10% back for being premium member). So, you can always get 15% off at Omnia with codes from certain Youtubers. But recently Omnia restricted Shimano/Daiwa rods/reels while using that code. But with this current sale it works on Shimano and Daiwa.
  3. Sounds like you're dressed for some wild party!
  4. I always have a swim jig or two tied on. I fish a handful of different brands, but you honestly can't go wrong with Siebert's. I like the Shot Caller the best, especially for fishing in/around cover. Mike is a site sponsor and also a great guy.
  5. It's only 7', but the ALX Zolo Dream would be a good choice. Alex could custom build you one that's longer if you'd like.
  6. @A-Jay trick-or-treating as a kid.
  7. If they just plan on having select stuff on sale here and there, instead of 20% off most everything like in the past...hmm.
  8. Lurenet has you covered!
  9. Omnia has 25% off some flat-sided crankbaits. Rapala OG Slim & OG Tiny. Berkley Frittside's. Also Strike King Chick Magnet (and Jr.) and Hybrid Hunter.
  10. Are you buying it for him?
  11. I don't use them anymore, but these worms are a big reason I have such a love affair with bass fishing. As a little kid first starting out, I caught more bass on these things than I could ever count.

Be careful when casting that boomerang...I mean bait.
  13. Not sure if you saw my post a while back on them. I didn't realize that they have these 'cuts' in the body like this. Helps give it more action.
  14. Do you fish more clear or stained water? I rarely throw them in clear water (I will throw the Stealth Blade once in a while). And I hear you about wood. I won't use them in heavily wooded areas. As far as retrieve, I rarely ever just do a straight retrieve. I'm always popping it here and there. Pausing it and letting it fall. Slowing down and speeding up. Also changing directions during the retrieve by switch my rod to the other side of my body.
  15. There's a ton of good trailers out there nowadays, and many have already been mentioned. Here's my favorites. For spinnerbaits, I agree with A-Jay. The Strike King Blade Minnow is my favorite. Personally I don't care for trailers that created drag like a paddletail does. This is also a great Chatterbait trailer. Trim to your desired length. This one is new this year and I just started using it recently. The Z-Man Chatterspike. I love it. Similar profile as the Spunk Shad but much more durable. I also just started using this this year and fell in love with it. It's quickly become one of my favorites. The Pro Point Lures Machete Minnow. Comes in 2 different sizes for regular size bladed jigs and smaller ones like the Mini Max. This one I use mostly when fishing around rock/trying to mimic crawfish. Big Bite Baits Kamikaze Craw. Missile Baits Mini D Chunk on a Mini Max. Big Bite Baits Kamikaze Swimon. 2 sizes. Jackhammer and Mini Max. Thunder Cricket with the 4" Yamamoto Zako. Nothing more needs to be said. Everyone loves this trailer. Also good on a spinnerbait. Picasso Shock Blade with a 5.5 Hog Farmer Spunk Shad. Strike King Rage Menace rigged vertically. Beast Coast Bladerunner. 4" Zoom Fluke on a Mini Max. 3" Yamamoto Zako on Mini Max.
  16. You ever fish Lake Owen there in Cable? Great smallie lake! Anyhoo, good to hear the OP was taken care of. Great customer service.
  17. I have 2 K's that I bought around 2018. This year I had the plastic thumb bar piece come off one of them. I super glued it back on and so far it's held up fine, but I also haven't used it a ton. They're rock solid reels, but I'd take the Curado 150 MGL over it 10 times out of 10.
  18. Crock-O-Gator buzzbait has become my new favorite this year. Paired with a Zoom Uni Toad.
  19. I usually say this every year around this time. To you southern guys, I hate you.
  20. Has the site been slow for anybody else the last few days? I thought maybe it's just me but it's slow on my phone as well as desktop. I know it was down for maintenance overnight a few nights so I don't know if it has anything to do with that?
  21. We get 20% off at FishUSA and Academy.
  22. I do still use the jig still in early Nov. if that counts.
  23. FishUSA has 20% off lures and 15% off fluorocarbon through tomorrow.
  24. Bottom line is they had a GREAT website that was perfect in every sense and made is harder/more time-consuming to navigate for the customer. In a time when there's becoming more and more options online to buy your tackle, this doesn't seem like a smart move. *I meant to edit this to my previous post, not make a new post. I'm done talking about the subject....I think.
