  1. Code is PREM50BONUS
  2. Fleet Farm. In-store only.
  3. I know the noise quite well. It usually means I'm squeezing the sucker a little too hard. Whoops.
  4. These for sure!! When I hear a jet ski coming, I turn and look at them with the most evil look. I don't try to do it, it's just a natural reaction. Also, cruising pontoon boats just BLASTING music that can be heard from the other side of the lake.
  5. Good memory! But the one this spring I actually accidentally snagged one with a squarebill. But the previous spring (or was it the one before) I caught a huge one that ate a KVD 1.5.
  6. ? Shh! I know that. You know that. But the bass don't know that!
  7. There have been scientific studies on this. If a bass sees a jig, they usually think "Yes! There's a crawdad/bluegill!" If there's braid being used, they think it's the crawdad's/bluegill's umbilical cord. So it really doesn't deter them from biting. (hey, it sounds good at least)
  8. Fish USA has 3 models of the 13 Fishing Concept C Gen 2 marked down to $161. Reg. $230. RH- 5.6:1 LH- 6.8:1 LH- 8.3:1
  9. Well, tomorrow is fall, and I remember this thread from earlier this year. Personally I don't run skirted buzzbaits too often. Usually just a traditional toad of some type. But this season my favorite trailer has become the new Zoom Uni Toad. Paired with a Croc-O-Gator skirtless buzzbait, the bait runs very true. The flat head of the buzzbait has something to do with it, but the Uni Toad has kind of a keeled underbody which also helps.
  10. You can call TW just to be sure, but in the past Daiwa products have always been included in the sale. You'd see the discount in the confirmation email.
  11. Ah. He didn't specify which Tatula rods. The only ones marked down are the old Elite's, right? So the 15% should still work on the $150 Tats and the new Elite's. And if it's Elite's you're looking for, the old models on TW are marked down to $150. The new model's are $10 more with the 15% off, and they're definitely an improvement over the previous models. (talking non-AGS BTW) Also, I've seen the old models marked down cheaper at other places than what TW is selling them for.
  12. 15% off at TW right now.
  13. BTW, my Discount Tackle order came with some Bridgeford jerky. Did they just start doing this? I know Omnia does, even tho I've NEVER gotten any in my orders! ?
  14. I got some of the new Z-Man Chatterspikes to try out. Haven't had a chance to try them yet. I thought they were just one solid piece. I didn't realize they had these 'cuts' in them. I'm sure that helps with the movement of the bait. Curious how they perform compared to the Spunk Shad. These will be more durable since they're made out of Elaztech. I am digging the Bluegill color. Has that lighter blue that you see on their gills (duh) and then the green pumpkin with orange flakes. I'm willing to bet they'll come out with a smaller size for the Mini Max at some point.
  15. A classic that still holds up today, even with fluoro (people used to say it's no good for it). I use Palomar for braid and Trilene for everything else, not counting connection knots, obviously. Trilene knot is so easy to tie. The tag end ends up at the bottom on the knot instead of the top, and you can manipulate it easily so you end up with a really short tag end, hence not wasting a lot of line.
  16. I stash all my tag ends and then toss them in the trash when I get off the lake. Most people just let it fall onto the deck of their boat/on the ground tho unfortunately.
  17. Call TW and ask them.
  18. One thing I really suck at is fishing the Carolina Rig. I suck so bad at it, I've never even tried it. Not once. Ever. ?
  19. I think I'd be afraid to fish with your gear. Your stuff belongs in a museum lol.
  20. I have over 40 combos at the moment. There are guys here who have more. You're good!
