How to store/organize plastics
Always thought these looked like a nice option. Buy 4, get 2 free.

Peg boards
I hate to say it but it got even bigger, and no it hasn't helped me stay as organized as I had hoped. 😒

Siebert sniper trailer??
Yeah, sometimes I like a tighter, thinner craw profile instead of more aggressive ones like the Rage Craw.

Adding rusted tackle to a box with new baits
I'd either toss 'em, or if you wanna keep them, keep them in a separate box with other rusted baits. If the hook hangers are really rusted, I wouldn't want one breaking off while fighting a big fish.

Siebert sniper trailer??
3.5" Strike King Rage Scounbug. Trimmed to your liking.

Rod Recommendations
It's 7'2, but the 7'2 MH or even 7'2 H Zodias. They do have a 7'5 MH, but I have no experience with it personally. Great rods. They're $220-230 but I can get you 20% off. PM me if interested.

What’s your thoughts on trimming jig skirts?
I'll trim if I want a little smaller profile or if the skirt is inhibiting the action of the trailer. Also goes for swim jigs and bladed jigs.

Who uses a snap vs. tieing on every time?
VMC size 0 or 1. Only on crankbaits. I leave the split rings on the bait.

Scott Martin dq'd again? Martin Withdraws From Elite Series
I disagree. If Scott passes the test, all is good. His reputation isn't tarnished over this one event, and he continues to fish the Elites. Instead, he refuses to take BASS' polygraph test and quits the Elites. That 100% screams guilty to me.

MLF Redcrest at Guntersville
They finally started after a delay. It's showing period 1 is only 1 1/2 hours long. So when there's a delay it cuts into their fishing time??

MLF Redcrest at Guntersville
He started fast too and was really happy with the area he was in. He had so much confidence he even kind of made mention of his plans for Championship Sunday (or something along those lines).

You still have hard water by you, do ya? 😄

MLF Redcrest at Guntersville
I just tuned in and I heard one of the guys say something like 'easy with the camera, I got my pecker out'. Who was that?? 😅 If you gotta go, you gotta go!

Okuma rod
- WHAT SIZE AND BRAND OF SNAPS DO YOU PREFER?
I also use VMC. I only use snaps for my crankbaits/squarebills/lipless. It's just so convenient and I feel it allows more range of motion for the baits. I mainly use size 0 and 1. The 00 size is a pain to use. https://www.tacklewarehouse.com/VMC_Crankbait_Snaps/descpage-VMCCS.html- Dobyns Sierra for large treble lures?
Are you throwing the 5" or 6" Trace? I've thrown the 5" on mine with no issues at all. As well as the 110 and 130 Plopper. As far as the 684 and 704, I don't have any experience with those. But a lot of times when you go shorter on a rod with the same rating/power, you lose some of the softness/tip. The 734 loads up real nice on the cast for these bigger baits. The 734 also makes a great bladed jig rod, as well as frogging in sparse cover/open water. Like I said, it's super versatile. One of Dobyns' most popular rods.- MLF Redcrest at Guntersville
Thanks buddy. I was actually able to get out and fish for a good 10 hours the other day. Was a little beat the next day. But I'll be fishing til the wheels fall off.- Dobyns Sierra for large treble lures?
Sierra 734 would absolutely work for the baits you mentioned. Very versatile rod.- MLF Redcrest at Guntersville
100%- Okuma X rods are Amazing thread talk
Not sure about eyes. Tying knots is my nemesis nowadays!- the Spike it Stick.
I'll use an orange Spike-It marker from time to time when I'm flipping a creature bait around shallow. '- Line conditioner questions
Word of warning. Pizza tastes better than KVD line conditioner. Don't ask me how I know. - WHAT SIZE AND BRAND OF SNAPS DO YOU PREFER?
