First off, I'm so sorry to hear about your situation/prognosis, my friend. As someone who's in the same boat, it's definitely a shock hearing that news. I'm also doing treatment every 3 weeks. I'll have my 3rd treatment next Thursday. Hopefully you continue to not have many side effects. I was also given a timeline (a year). But I'll be damned if I ain't gonna try to prove them wrong. You can as well. 🙏

He just redeemed himself. Boat flipped another and came off in the boat. Also lost 2 rods in the water while trying to grab the bass that got off and fell back in the water lol.

OMG Wesley Gore...loses a bass trying to boat flip it. That could've put him in the top 10 with an hour remaining.

I know there's been tests done etc, but nobody can convince me that fluoro has as much/more stretch than mono.

I love that Randy still confidently rocks that flat-top.

I really wish some companies would take more pride in their builds. If that's a $300 rod, there's no excuse for that kind of craftmanship, even if it doesn't affect it's performance. Those issues alone is enough for me to pass. These are my 2 main jig rods. Great rods.

Not to mention the Daingerous is much more durable IMO. And like you alluded to, can be fished at higher speeds without blowing out. When I first heard of the Daingerous, and after how Chris left Megabass only to 'design' this new swimbait for Bass Mafia, I bashed him pretty good for knocking off Megabass so bad, just based on the looks. (though to be fair I took more issue with how he was saying how much time him and BM spent designing their new swimbait, even though it looked exactly like the Magdraft) Point is, I use the Bass Mafia baits more than the Magdraft now. 😅 I really like the freestyle version as well. Swimming it slowly through sparse pads...so fun.

Thanks for all the recommendations and info, guys. This isn't gonna be as easy as I hoped. I don't know, maybe this is a rabbit hole I shouldn't go down. Because I'd still have to buy the baits to throw on the BFS setups. And that could get out of hand/expensive. 😅

I'm supposed to be selling rods, but I've always wanted to tip my toes into the BFS world. So I decided to give it a try. I'm not sure if there's one rod that does most the techniques "ok". Or if I should get one rod for micro plastics/t-rigs, jigs, neds etc and one for small treble hook baits. I've watched a few Youtube videos. Rods I keep seeing are- Shimano Expride B 6'8 L (for all-around?) Cashion Icon 6'10 ML (bottom contact?) Cashion Icon 7' L (treble hooks?) Dobyns Sierra 700 Dobyns Sierra 701 For reels I'd probably do thee Curado BFS unless there's other stuff around that price point that is as god/better. Any info on anything would be great. Even line you guys use. Thanks!

Those are all good choices. There's so many good ones on the market now. My absolute favorite is this exact one. 13 Fishing Magic Man. 1/2oz. Regurgitated Shad color. Sadly Rapala squashed the 13 Fishing hard baits when they took them over, so you have to look around to find them. They come with great hardware as well, which isn't usually the case nowadays.
