  1. I wouldn't say better then a sammy or spook. It's a different bait and has its own time and place. It has a thinner profile then other topwaters. It's a walking bait that also has the water displacement / spitting action like a popper. Gunfish 95 in Aurora Black is the one I fish the most.
  2. 3/4oz JIG w/ 5" GYCB Hula Grub Trailer
  3. BOX if it comes in the way of 21ft long with a big motor on the back. If thats not a option then I use a bag.

Magic Swimmer and Flatt Shad are great baits!
  5. I found that color in a 5in senko. I was a special order color and it looks great.
  6. Thinking about getting the Revo Toro 60-HS 6.4:1 14lb / 250yds. I will be using the for swimbaits 1-4 oz. I want a low profile reel that will hold a good amount of line. Any feedback on how this reel would be helpful. The other reel I'm thinking about getting is the Revo Winch 5.4:1. I will be using it as my main cranking reel. I must let you know that I'm a Daiwa guy and i just think that these 2 reels fit what I'm looking for. I like the gear ratio on the Winch over the Craz Cranker. The Crazy Cranker just seems that it is too slow. The Toro seems to be the ticket with being low profile and line capacity. I'm I making the right decisions on going with Abu Garcia on these 2 reels?
  7. Depends on the plastics! I leave almost all my plastics in the original package or a ziplock bag.
  8. Green Pumpkin, Green Pumpkin Purple Flk, Green Pumpkin Copper Flk, Green Pumpkin Gold Flk, Green Pumpkin Red Flk, Green Pumpkin w/ Smoke Purple Tail, and White (bed fishing).
  9. If I'm fishing a tournament and I only have 1 or 2 out it should be a great day.
  10. Try the St. Croix LTC70HF frog rod. It's in the same line up.
  11. Clear water on a sunny day. It will look like a dying shad as it falls. That would be a great bait for Lake Havasu or Lake Powell.
  12. I'm not a big fan of braid. I use it for frogs and flipping in heavy vegetation. I will once in a great while use it for spoons, jerkbaits and topwaters.
  13. Redlinerobert Very nice choices on the wine list. Was the Silver Oak Alexander Valley or Napa?
  14. The sol is a best spinning reels I have ever fished. It was a very sad day when I found out that they were no longer making them.
  15. I agree 100% and if they were easy to find around were I live I would have a couple. If your not willing to pay the $22 the guy your fishing against probley will. They are a proven bait. Let us know how you like them. It sounds like you have already made up your mind you going to get a couple.
  16. Kanji Tungsten and West Coast Tackle quickdrop weights
  17. My go to square bill crankbait!!!!
  18. Open the side plate and place every other brake up. One up the next down all the way around and it should work fine for you.
  19. They look really good. I would t-rig of put them on a football jig.
  20. Green Pumpkin w/ Black Flk Watermelon w/ Red Flk Black w/ Blue Flake
