Colorado BASS Federation Nation. At the state qualifier the boater and non-boater split the day on the trolling motor and water fished. This is the same at the western divisionals. The top 12 in the state make up the Colorado State Team. The top 6 in the state being boaters at divisionals and the next 6 being non-boaters at divisionals. Just besause a angler is a non-boater at divisionals does not mean that he / she does not own a boat. He / she could have a $50,000 boat sitting at home but because they finished 7-12 in the state there boat stays at home. The top angler out of each state advances to nationals as a boater. There is no non-boaters after the divisional level. At nationals the the top angler out of each division get to go to the classic. Colorado TBF (FLW). At the state qualifer the boater and non boater fish as a team. This is not a draw tournament it's a team tournament. The top six teams advance to divisionals. The boater being the boater and the non-boater being the non-boater at divisionals. There has been a number of times that two boaters pair up for the state qualifier. At divisionals I believe that the boater and non-boater split the day. At divisionals the top 2 angler out of each state advance to nationals. The top spot goes as a boater and the second spot goes as a co-angler. I believe at the national level the day is NOT split between the boater and co-angler.

Has anyone tried the Rattlin Larry the Lizard from Hawg Wild Custom Bass Baits? They come in a 10" and 6" sizes in a number of different colors. They are around the Lake Fork area.

The BPS near me had the LC Slender Pointers in Nishiki on sale also. The only thing is someone beat me to them and they were all gone.

Did anyone hear the news about the 150 ice fisherman on lake erie. I just heard that a 8 mile chunk broke off and 150 were stranded and 1 guy died.

Bassin_Fin@tic said it best from my experence it is either a hit or miss bait. The bass seem to knock the crap out of it or swim away like there being chased.

I use a couple jig trailers! 1. Zoom Lil Critter Craw 2. Zoom Super Chunk Jr 3. GYCB Hula Grub 4. Zoom Super Chunk 5. GYCB Double Tail Grub I use the first 3 about 90% of the time. You will get a 100 different answers and choices. Find a couple you have confidence in and fits the type of jig fishing your doing. I have used alot more trailers but these 5 are the ones that I have the most confidence in.

I guess his bass are holding up after pulling out over 60lb on day one. He had over 34lb on day 2 and his co-angler had 28lb. 1 boat brought in over 120lb in 2 days. Yes, he is in 1st.

How about the co-angler leading after day one has over 30lb and his pro is sitting in 180th with one fish at a little over 3lb. Another thing that was amazing was the pro sitting in 3rd and his co-angler is also in 3rd. They both brought in over 30lb. 60lb out of one hole in a day well see if it lasts.

Had to pass on the trip down to the cabin this weekend on Lake Cypress. It should be prespawn and if the cold front hits the chain it will not help. I'll go with Kyle Fox he will get a big one to bite. He will only bring in 4 fish one of the days because he will be big fish hunting. It will only take 12-13 pounds a day to win.

The FLW is growing because BASS is droping the ball on a lot of issues. I don't really see why the FLW would want to join up with BASS. Alot of the anglers have either made the switch to the FLW or are fishing both. Just think some people thought Luke Clauson was crazy a few years back for not fishing with BASS after the classic. Did he know something or was he pressured?

Tin That is a good question!!!! He must not dislike the baits because he copied about everyone RI has came out with. I can see it now tournaments that can only be fished with BPS baits. ;D
