Local news confirms all 3 from Kentucky Lake found .... 2 dead, one survived .... they were setting trot lines in a jon boat. From Barkley, 1 dead, 1 survived .....

Weheard this AM that there was another accident on Barkley .... 2 guys in a tournament were thrown from the boat .... one somehow got a rope tangled around his foot and was run over by the boat and the other drowned. Haven't heard this on the news, but a pretty reliable source. There are no confirmed updates on the others, but we heard one dead, one airlifted th Vanderbilt Hospital, and one still missing.

Burley ..... there is a cable lube system that might help called Davis Cable Buddy Steering Cable Lube ..... might try Discount Marine Supplies Man ... if I needed a new prop and a steering cable, I'd try to convince the wife that it was time for a new boat !!!!!!!!

Some guys talk about how great their wives are .... how many can top this !! Some of you from the Roadtrip know that Debbie and I got married DURING a team tournament last summer. We fished a couple of hours, got married on a floating chapel on Kentucky Lake, then went to weigh-in. Hereis one of our wedding pictures. We caught enough fish that day to secure a spot the KBF/TBF State Team Challenge

Burley .... stainless is of course gonna give you better performance and be harder to damage. You are right .... prices have gone crazy !!! The last prop I bought for our Range was about $550 and then I sent it off to be balanced and blueprinted .... another $175 before It was ever ran on the boat !!! Ouch !!! But .... even getting yours reworked ain't cheap anymore Greg

Deb and I had a great time meeting everyone and joining in. We are glad to see all the posts to learn everyone seemed to enjoy. Alpster and Long Mike did a great job putting it together. Roadwarrior and Speedbead were great feeding all the hungry attendees. Thanks to Glenn for letting us join in at the last minute. We didn't fish much as we can fish here whenever we want and were too busy enjoying the fellowship. Wish we could have hung out Thursday and Friday, but my daughter and her kids came to visit. We really hope to be part of the next Roadtrip .............. If anyone visits Kentucky Lake again ..... look us up !!!

We saw these guys tryin to find fish on Kentucky Lake yesterday. Deb and I live on the lake and fish it 3 to 5 times a week. We have never found fish this shallow!! Does anybody recognize these 2?? Roadwarrior and Long Mike ...... when you get in front of Deb's camera, you never know what will happen !!!!!!!!!! Here, they backed off the bank a little and started to find them !!! ;D

Sorry to hear about your Shih Tzu ..... always hard to lose a family member. Deb and I drove over 500 miles (round trip) Tuesday to a tiny burg called Boss, Mo. to pick up a puppy!! It cut into our fishin' time !!!

Too bad Brian ..... I staked a claim on her almost 2 years ago ..... I ran an add in the paper ........ " Wanted .. woman who can fish bass tournaments and has a lake house .... Please send pictures of the house !! " She responded .... "first send pictures of your boat !!! " Try it ... it might work for ya !!! ;D

Mike .... we thought you had been bass fishing since fish were invented !!!!! Like us !!!! ;D

Deb and I were out for a couple of hours again today ..... we caught several and the quality of the bite was overall better ..... more keepers .......... Here's a pic of a 5 pounder Deb put in the boat ... here she is having a talk with the fish ;D
