  1. It could just need some service/lubrication before buying parts for a reel, unless you already disassembled and know what the issue is. Just a suggestion for you.
  2. Yep I ordered a reel from there the other day.

  4. I'm not trying to debunk anything, I'm just speaking from my own personal experience.
  5. I had a new JDM Daiwa Tatula reel I purchased from overseas and was excessively noisy when I fished it the first time on the water. I sent it to Daiwa for warranty and they replaced a couple parts sent it back to me at no cost. I just had to pay for the shipping to them for the repair.
  6. Don't go on there, that is a complete scam site.
  7. Group Name: BassResource Password: BR2024
  8. Last 2 boxes arrived from Tackle Warehouse & Bass Pro, should be good through at least this season.
  9. Pop off the chrome plastic trim piece and there will be a screw in the middle. There is no bearing in there, just a plastic bushing that is what is in my Fuego. Remove the screw and pull the knob off. There is a thin washer at the bottom of the handle shaft. I just clean everything, apply a thin coat of oil the shaft of the handle & re-assemble.
  10. I have a couple of the Xtreme series, the only thing I don't love about them is the hook keeper placement & the guide diameters are on the smaller side. The rods are light and balance nicely. They only have a a couple specific models that are available with cork grips if that matters to you, other than that they have many more models with the winn grip style.
  11. I feel like I'm getting the tackle bug flu also... 😆
  12. I just completed my restocking order. 🙊
  13. Keitech Fat Swing Impact 2.8,3.3,3.8, 20% off at Omnia
  14. I'm a Daiwa guy and have used Shimano also. You can pickup the new 2024 Tatula 100 for about $133 from Japan, it has more line capacity so depends what you plan to be throwing. With that said Shimano makes good reels, I would go to a store and see what reel feels best in your hands.
  15. I've fished the heck out of my Tatula reels, my favorite is this older Tatula reel that has been through the ringer fishing braid & frogs.
  16. I'm planning to go to Red Willow Reservoir in Nebraska & Okoboji Lakes in Iowa.
  17. I'm going to get a few Spinnerbaits & Buzzbaits, Spunk Shads, Jig Heads, Hooks, Line. Just waiting for the next sale 💰 Just finished going through my tackle and made a list of my needs/re-stock.
  18. Buzzbait, Stick Bait, Bladed Jig, Frog, Wacky Worm
  19. I purchased my Lifetime Fishing Permit in my early 20's, the small investment when I was young has already paid for its self. I never have to buy one in Nebraska again, it is always in my tackle bag.
