  1. Bill Lewis ATV Squarebills, Bomber Squarebill, Bandit 100 have been a few of my choices.
  2. I'm using TSI 321 and Super Lube Synthetic Grease, plenty of choices out there to try.
  3. Well just over 10 years ago I had my first surgery with a brain tumor and in April 2025 I had another brain surgery. I've been feeling pretty good and finished several months of speech therapy. I'm feeling good that I've been able to get out to the lake and catching some fish again.
  4. Jigs & Texas Rigs were my best baits last year.
  5. I'm too poor to boat flip a bass, my luck I would break a rod on a 12 incher. 😆
  6. Falcon, Kistler, Daiwa have all been great service and lowest cost/warranty related.
  7. I did all my reels last month, cleaned & lubed. I had a loose guide on one rod so I repaired that a couple weeks ago. We still have ice on our lakes, but with the warm weather this week we'll probably be seeing some open water.
  8. Started making some Black/Blue creature baits.
  9. Picked up this Daiwa Exceler LT for $62.89
  10. They work, I've caught plenty of fish on them.
  11. Hope you can get some bites when spring arrives.
  12. I wouldn't consider either of those lures snag less, but yes I always have a pitching jig, swimming jig, bladed jig on a rod at all times.
  13. Received my goodies yesterday, thanks Mike from MA.
  14. Shipping my package on Monday 12/16.
  15. Motley Fishing Black Friday https://www.motleyfishing.com/product-category/black-friday/
  16. PM sent for FISHMAS 2024
  17. I've been doing my own reels for around 6 years. You'll have the initial cost for tools/lube/oil but will pay for itself after one reel.
  18. That bait cost almost as much as my boat
  19. I've been using Super Lube Synthetic Grease and TSI 321 oil
  20. I've found the weights to be longer in length compared to some that I have. I would recommend to buy the one's that have the weight printed on them with the no chip coating for sure.
  21. I'm out fishing in the rain as long as their is no crazy heavy winds. One thing I learned that Berkley invented the Berkley Lightning Rod for a reason... 😆
  22. I just leave enough to cover the tip of the hook, I'll also spread the weed guard out a bit wider.
  23. I would also check your weed guards on your jigs, they are usually too long. It is a minor thing that can make a big difference.
  24. Powell Rods 30% sale. CHECKOUT ENTER CODE: MAYDAY
  25. A few good bites from last week.
