  1. I am. I understand there can be a lot of money on the line but this just seems ridiculous to try to tell people what they can and can't talk about. I can understand if there are connecting lakes or areas they you are not allowed to go into and such that TRULY would give someone a competitive advantage about but this just seems excessive to me. Maybe it is just me.
  2. They are SERIOUSLY administering lie detector tests???
  3. No, my answer is don't try to legislate a silly rule like this in the first place. They said all their rules are fluid, this is one that will go away quickly. Guys who are friends will be off the water in the evening on the road in cities where they do not know anyone. Obviously they will go to dinner together and such. Obviously the talk would migrate to their shared work field. Is the other guy going to stick his fingers in his ear and say "LA LA LA" so he doesn't "cheat"?
  4. Didn't see that conversation. How are you caught if two people are talking? One of the two rat on the other and in the process expose themselves? If everyone can talk to everybody no one has an advantage over anyone else and don't have to have silly rules. They already almost blind fold and gag anglers on the way to the water. While different I can kind of see the idea behind it at least.
  5. http://www.another site.com/news_article/9458/new-bpt-rules-limit-angler-networking#.XGos0uhKhPY How in the world do they plan on "enforcing" this rule? At midnight of the first practice day anglers can't talk about baits, the fishery, etc. Is it me or isn't this kind of silly? Are they just on the honor system or something?
  6. Yeah I went to that store Friday morning and did my best to clear them out of the 832 and InvizX they had on sale LOL
  7. Bought a good amount of SK Rage Bugs and Missile D-Bombs to start flippin this year. Was planning on using the Gammy 4/0 EWG hooks I've got. Been reading more about hooks made specifically for this technique. It looks like most flippin hooks are not the EWG style and have a keeper, which would be nice. Would a normal Gammy 4/0 EWG hooks possibly bend out? How does a superline model differ? If it matters as to what you'd recommend I plan on using 50# 832 braid and a Dobyns Sierra 735C.
  8. Hey A-Jay, what model box is that?
  9. Actually I just got the purple mediums to fit on the #1 EWGs. Certainly a little snug but all 3 hooks snapped in and all. They will come off fine and do not damage the hook or the safety cap. I'd say these are the way to go.
  10. The medium sized purple Owner caps most certainly will fit a #2 Mustad KVD Short Shank Triple Grip Treble Hook. They will snap in and hold perfectly. Now the large sized yellow Owner caps are a big big for a #1 Mustad KVD Short Shank Triple Grip Treble Hook. You can put them in and it will stay on for the most part in your tackle box but if you were to take them out and kind of shake the lure the would slide off. The purple is a perfect fit for the #2. I think I still would recommend the purple for the #1. It will not "snap in" on all 3 hooks but the will for 2 and the other leg of the treble is big enough it will certainly hold. Here is another picture.
  11. And just how big is that box?
  12. Because I think I would rather have bigger boxes and less of them (versus smaller boxes but more of them) I think I may just go with the basic 3700. During the current Bass Pro sale today I saw they have their 3700 on sale for half off making them $3.39 and at that price I do not see how I can pass on it. I compared them to the Plano 3700 and other then them having Bass Pro on them they look and feel the exact same.
  13. What size treble are you saying is in between the two different sized safety caps? I have some of the medium purples that fit a #2 fine and they appear to also fit #1. Is that not the case?
  14. While everyone says this while I understand it all kind of works together I have never understood how windy conditions affect what fish under water will bite at.
  15. My BPS had some with single Colorado blades and some with a small Colorado with a willow blade on it as well.
  16. Triple grips size 4 for those. They're awesome!
  17. I need to do something for tackle storage and am looking at different tray options. Waterproof or not? Flambeau or Plano? Deep or shallow boxes? Great to have to have a lot of options but it can get confusing too. Went to the Bass Pro sale today and they have their trays that are 14" x 9" all 50% off so price may push me that way even though they are not waterproof and the clamps seen a little bit cheap. Just wanted to see some of your trays showing jigs and cranks and such to get an idea of what size I need and how many.
  18. So it sounds like if I went with a short shank on a 6XD I would be able to up a size to a 1. Would that same size "fit" on a 5XD or would I need to do a size 2 on them?
  19. Driven by there for work many times, thought about trying to get out there sometime. Hear lots of great things!
  20. I know there is always time taken for production and such but when will coverage from this years events start hitting the TV?
  21. What are we talking about here? I'm lost.
  22. Take a look at the new Terminator Shutterbait. Might change your mind.
  23. What TV channels now have the television rights to what tour?
