Features Aside - Who has the Best Imaging
They are pretty good anymore. Your best bet is to visit a cabelas or bass pro and compare them. If you are only concerned about imaging, hummingbird mega imaging is hard to beat.

Negative Charge on Battery
You don't need a 36 volt charger and you don't have to disconnect the batteries. Nearly all bass boats have multi bank chargers. They charge each battery individually with 12 volts. They are designed to charge the batteries while they are still connected. If you have a smart trolling motor it is wise to disconnect it while charging. One possible issue I have seen on bass boats with 24 or 36 volt systems is a jump start circuit that connects to one of the trolling motor batteries. It allows you to jump start the outboard with a trolling motor battery. There is a switch that disconnects the power wire, but the grounds of the trolling motor battery and outboard battery are always connected. This extra circuit can only be connected to the battery that is connected to the trolling motor ground. If it is connected to any other battery in the circuit it can ruin the batteries and possibly damage electronics. Unfortunately I found this out the hard way after a shop installed a new onboard charger and hooked them up wrong. It boiled one of my trolling motor batteries dry.

Negative Charge on Battery
you should always change all 3 batteries at the same time on a 36 volt system. more than likely one of the other batteries are bad and taking that one down. Has anybody put a battery load tester on the other two batteries?

Fishing in February
Caught my biggest bass of 2020 in january. 2nd largest bass of the year was in february. It's funny how a lot people will deer hunt in below zero weather, but will not fish if it gets below 40. In the Midwest you usually have to find a power plant lake to fish January and February. Often times the other lakes have ice.

Fish Identification
that is a shiner. as @TnRiver46 said a creek chub is a total different fish. this is a creek chub. they are common in most midwest streams. they make great catfish bait.

The Road To The Super Bowl 2021
That's great. Last night's game could have ended differently if Cam Newton didn't have covid 19. Not saying the Chiefs would have lost. The final scores would have probably been higher. Chiefs tend to kick it up a notch when pushed. I don't think they were under much pressure last night.

Fluorocarbon
As mentioned vanish is about the worst fluorocarbon line you can buy. Sunline sniper is my favorite. it is pretty sensitive and has limited stretch. Tatsu is great but extremely expensive. Invisx is not bad, but stretches a little more. Suffix advance is great line, but has a thicker diameter than some of the others. sensitivity with fluoro is different than braid. braid is always more sensitive on a tight line. flurocarbon is more sensitive on a semi slack line.

What's the deal with the new Tatula CT?
they had one on display at bass pro shops. I played around with it and compared it to a couple other Diawa's. Like @iabass8 mentioned it seems identical to the old ct. It is a nice looking reel. While comparing it to the tatula 100 and the tatula sv, it did not seem as smooth. the difference could have just been because it was a floor model and needed some lube. It is around $30.00 cheaper than the 100.

All - Around Bait Cast Reel Line
Never tried suffix elite, but I use suffix advance mono. A little more expensive but, It is a lot more manageable than yozuri. There are a lot of good reviews on yozuri, but to me it acts just like cheap line should. Stiff, thick diameter, inconsistent knots, and stretchy. That is just my two cents.

Sunline Sniper FC
Sniper has been my go to line for the last 4 years.. I Use 14 pound most of the time. 18 pound for heavy cover. I have never noticed any problems. I have recently been trying out suffix advance Fluorocarbon. It is a little thicker than sniper, but otherwise has worked well. Also cheaper.

Braid vs floro and it's how sensitive a rod is by price point.
On slack or semi slack line, fluoro is more sensitive than braid. For bottom contact baits. I always use flourocarbon line. Braid is only more sensitive when the line is relatively tight. It loses nearly all its sensitivity when it goes limp.

Jerkbaits in fall?
I throw a jerkbait all year January through December. Anytime bass are eating baitfish fairly shallow. Like others mentioned Fall is probably the best time. Bass are feeding up for winter and are usually aggressively eating the newly hatched fish from summer. In fall I generally fish a jerkbait pretty fast, with short pauses. Trying to imitate a fleeing or injured baitfish. Jerkbaits that can suspend for long periods of time is not as important in fall. jerkbaits work well in cold water, because of the ability to suspend for long periods of time. in cold water I fish it much slower with long pauses. this time of year the bait needs to be able to suspend for long periods of time.

Re: Wyandotte County Lake
Only thing I am aware of, is on the south side of Wilson cove a little west of the first small cove. It looks like some type of large conveyor on my mega imaging. I was told it was a rock crusher. I have never seen it without sonar. It is in pretty deep water. I think it is in around 30 feet of water. Crappie fishermen anchor around it in summer.

Re: Wyandotte County Lake
I was there yesterday. Water temp was 71. Water might be stirring around from temp change, but I don't think it actually turns over until the surface temp gets in the 50s. Weeds are starting to die and the bite was pretty slow.

For Us KC Area Guys - Fishing Reports
Spent a lot of time out there over the last 4 years. Like you said there are a few big fish, but not many. One thing I have noticed this year is fish in the 15 to 18 inch range are extremely rare. You either catch small fish or big fish. I am assuming with the extra fishing pressure, they have all been harvested.

Difference in Sunline fluoro
Shooter is stiffer, and more abrasion resistant, than assasin or sniper. I don't use it much. Too stiff for me. Fluoro Night glows under a black light for night fishing. They also now make specialty lines for certain applications.
-
Difference in Sunline fluoro
I have used both. Assasin may be a little more manageable when its new, but in my experience sniper is more forgiving on knots and seems to last loger. I no longer use assasin. the small difference in price was not worth it to me.

Rod power and action for chatterbaits
- Kayak vs Jon boat
Nice boat. looks similar to my first boat, except mine had an old cold blooded 2 stroke outboard. copilot is remote steer, speed and on off on a minn kota power drive. It has to be a power drive V2, built after 2007, to be I pilot compatible.- Has the bite turned off dramatically for anyone else in the last 2 days?
- For Us KC Area Guys - Fishing Reports
It is also required for the pond at Wyandotte county park. West of the legends on State Avenue. Pretty small, but occasionally gives up a big fish. There. Is also big eleven lake at state avenue and 11th street. Pierson is not well maintained, but I have caught a few nice bass there when my boat was getting repaired.- For Us KC Area Guys - Fishing Reports
Make sure you buy a permit for Wyandotte county lake. They will check you and give you a ticket, if you don't have one . - Kayak vs Jon boat
