Have done really well fishing Super Flukes weightless. All the fish have come from the top 2ft of water or less. Was wondering if anyone fishes them weighted (keel weighted hooks maybe) with good results??? As Ever, skillet
  6. Instead of holding the fish with the jaw in line with the rest of the body (straight up and down) angle the bottom jaw where it is slightly pointing toward you. Pay attention to the word "slightly". If you over extend the bottom jaw you take the chance of injuring the fish, especially heavier fish... As Ever, skillet

  9. Have always spooled my spinning reels like Roostertails said "laying it on the floor label up" then giving it some slack to see if it twists. It has always worked for me. KVD line conditioner is some good stuff (really good ) but I don't know if it would help if you filled your spool backward... As Ever, skillet

  23. Also use them T-rigged with either 1/8 or 3/16oz weight. Most of the bottoms in the ponds and lakes around here are are green or a greenish brown so I use mainly green pumkin or watermelon seed ... As Ever, skillet BTW try Baby Brush Hogs also
