The forum on Bass Boating would be a big help with outfitting your boat and WELCOME to yhe forums!!! As Ever, skillet
  2. Most of the time I'll use the Palomar. On long baits like a Devil's Horse, a Trilene knot is easier. Passing that loop (Palomar) around the whole bait without using 3' ;Dof line is a real pain... As Ever, skillet
  3. ;D ;DWHO'S YOUR DADDY NOW?...HUH...HUH (while pumping your fist) ;D ;D... As Ever, skillet BTW no, not really. You did the only thing you could have done (except the above). The "bad" was on him...

  9. I usually put it (whatever I happen to be looking for) some place special so I'll know where to look for it. :PSSSUUURRREEE :PNow, if only I could remember where that GOSHDURNED special place is!!! As Ever, skillet
  10. Was at a small lake not too long ago and fishing a Brush Hog. Flipped into the top of a small downed tree. Could see the bait on the bottom and was fixing to reel it back in when I saw movement out of the corner of my eye. It was a 2 1/2 maybe little more that came over watched bait for minute, turned tail up and hit it HARD. Just to agree with you, it's great to get to watch it happen ... As Ever, skillet

  22. Don't have a lot of experience with what I would term high end rods . I bought my 1st Crucial (baitcaster) not too long ago and it's everything I was told it would be. Last time I was in BPS I made the mistake of picking up a Crucial spinning rod and Ol' Banana Breath jumped dead square of my back ;D! Also, like others have said, you can't beat a lifetime in-store warranty... As Ever, skillet
  23. You might do a search. Someone had a post not too long ago on this technique. Had never heard of it myself... As Ever, skillet
  24. REAL nice fish! The day I caught my PB, I also caught one that was pretty close to 4 1/2 lb. It cut-up a lot more than the larger fish ... As Ever, skillet
