  4. Would like to echo what hawg caller said. What a rush hooking, fighting AND seeing her. Great tales and memories are made of this stuff. Would also like to say keep trying, I caught and landed a 7lb 14oz PB let her go and then caught her a week later (had gained an oz, 7lb 15oz) on same bait not 20 yds from where I caught her the first time. Know without a doubt it was same fish ... As Ever, skillet

  7. Here in the mid-south we have bream (great eating fish ) that will fool you into a hookset. Will pull parts off most creature baits. If Senkos are as soft as a lot of members have said, could be some kind of pan fish just biting the tail... As Ever, skillet

  13. Would depend on type of line, how much use it gets (and abuse). When I fished mono 2 0r 3 times a year. Using copoly now so hopefully I can get more use out of a spool... As Ever, skillet
  14. I know you checked to see if the line was free. Unless you can see the lip "bent" or something like that, you sure got a new one on me :-/... As Ever, skillet
  15. Soft plastics T-rigged or on a jig are my favorite baits. Every little bit of confidence you gain in yourself is a HUGE help... As Ever, skillet

  17. Won't be much help with a small CLEAR creek . Here in the Mid-South the "water is usually to thick to drink and to thin to plow". Use SEARCH, there have been lots of discussions on combos for that price. WELCOME to the forums!!! As Ever, skillet
