  8. I own one of the Citicas, a 200D. It is a great reel! The more educated your thumb gets, the fewer of the brakes you need... As Ever, skillet BTW the only other "decent" reel I owned had mag. brakes and I was worried about having to open the reel every time I changed baits, it doesn't have to work that way. It is a really good system...

  14. This is just personal preference (like most things we talk about ), if I'm gonna change colors while using plastics there is usually more of a pronounced difference. To me, those 2 colors would be for really stained or muddy water. Hope you get you're line stretched with them... As Ever, skillet
  15. Someone nobody mentioned, Mickey Newberry. Could write lyrics with the best of them and had a great voice. The way I heard about him, he had a song called "San Francisco's Mabel Joy" it crossed over from the country charts. I bought the album "Heaven Help the Child" and played the grooves off it! He is mentionrd in "Luckenbac Texas", Newberry's train songs. He's passed away now but if you ever get a chance ... As Ever, skillet

  25. FC, WOW, those are some great color pics. Many moons ago (before digital) I had a SLR 35mm that I played with a lot. I was always interested in B&W. You could always tell a good pic, when you got the composition just right... As Ever, skillet
