  1. Geez.... Please read FAQs. We only have a few topics "Off Limits". Good night Irene. -Kent a.k.a. roadwarrior Global Moderator
  2. Hmm... Gas grill = outdoor oven So... No "nasty" flavor, just what you got goin'.... It's not terrible, it just ain't right! 8-)
  3. If the goal is to catch a few bass, this is the answer... guaranteed! Later, there are many more variables to consider and ways to narrow the search and improve efficiency. However, until you have caught some fish all the technical mumbo-jumbo just doesn't register. So I say, relax, catch some fish and have some fun! K.I.S.S. 8-)
  4. Here ya go: http://www.bassresource.com/bass_fishing_forums/YaBB.pl?num=1158577137 8-)
  5. Correct. 8-)

  7. Outstanding! 8-)
  8. Go fishing...Don't change anything on a Lucky Craft. 8-)
  9. I thought NASCAR had about 15 or at most, 20 real drivers. The rest are just "filler". However, for the second time I can remember, rain made the day for the hopeless. http://www.nascar.com/2009/news/features/05/26/final.turn.your.turn.lms.rain.delays/index.html 8-)
  10. Out the back in a straight line with the tail, then Texposed. On a different issue, I am using a 1/4 oz weight, unpegged, but I think Big O has been suggesting a keel weighted hook. So, there are many ways to skin this cat! 8-)
  11. Welcome aboard! If you have the time, book "The Trip Of A Lifetime" with George Welcome: http://imaginationbassin.com/ 8-)
  12. 1. That's not how it works...A little too much is way too much. 2. Sure sounds like a switcheroo to me. 3. Try again, but talk with CS first to see if you can find someone that cares about your problem. 8-)
  13. Go to to the Rage Tail website and watch the videos: http://www.ragetail.com/ I use a Gamakatsu 5/0 Round Bend to Fish the 10" Anaconda: http://www.cabelas.com/prod-1/0030842113363a.shtml The alignment is along the seam, tail up, but I don't know that tail up or tail down makes a difference. 8-)
  14. Well, try it and see, but I think you will find trying to work with two rods while paddling is a royal pain in the behind! :-?
  15. Hmm... I don't know, I have never fished a Fat Ika that lasted long enough to dissolve. They are made from the same plastic formula Senkos are made from. With either bait, they swell and soften if left in water, but I have never noticed a problem while fishing. 8-)
  16. Definitions: BBQ equipment: Grill, smoker, pit. Direct heat (grill) or indirect heat (smoker); pits are hybrid Fuel: Pure charcoal, briquettes, various woods for flavoring, primarily white oak for fire. Gas "Grill": Outdoor oven; illegal south of the Mason-Dixon Line. :
  17. Gotcha.
  18. If you want to fish a pure fluorocarbon line, this is great advice. Otherwise, you might give Yo-Zuri Hybrid #6 a try. 8-)
  19. I'm sure Abu Garcia will send you a new reel, but if you bought it locally at a brick and mortar store, they will probably swap it out over the counter. 8-)
  20. Simple solution. Otherwise, Chris Fish suggests braid with a fluorocarbon leader. I don't use either. #6 Yo-Zuri Hybrid is almost as stealthy as Fluro, much stronger and far more manageable. 8-)
  21. I think there was a tube in your gift bag. I'll send you another with the bluegill. I'll try to get them out tomorrow. 8-)
  22. No. Using a jighead would eliminate the action that is key to the bait. 8-)
