Complete Set-up: Rods, Reels and Tackle
Well, I would spend most of the money on a reel (Shimano Stradic 2500FI) and a little on the rod...But to answer your question within your stated parameters, buy a BPS Combination on sale: Shimano Symetre reel with whatever BPS rod they match up. On sale, you pay for the reel and the rod is practically free. The total price should be around $130. However, trying to buy two rigs and accessories for $200 is a recipe for disappointment. 8-)

All brands are a little different. If you are buying your first or just getting one, XCalibur Xr50, Chrome Blue/Orange: http://www.excaliburlures.com/rattle.asp 8-)

Paca Craws
Paca Craws are great jig trailers, but personally, I prefer the Baby Paca Craw. 8-)

shaky head
The main difference is that the bait stands up. Get yourself some 3/8 oz Shak-e2 jig heads and 6 1/2" GYCB Kut-Tail and Rage Tail Lobsters...Killer combinations! http://shake2jigs.com/ 8-)

what is your favorite post-spawn bait?
Soft plastics and jigs. Over the years the GYCB Senko and Fat Ika have been #1 & #2, with tubes ranking a close 3rd. This year I'm focusing on the Rage Tail Anaconda, Lobster and Space Monkey. I also want to spend more time with the Larew 7 1/2" Salty Ring Worm. 8-)

Favorite shallow running crankbait 1-3 ft.
I caught my PB on a Norman Fat Boy, bluegill pattern. Other suggestions include Bomber Square A, Bagley BII, Lucky Craft (Rick Clunn) 1.5, 2.5 & 3.5 and the Fat CB series. 8-)

How Big is this Bass?
I'm thinking the fish looks spawned out to me. I caught a "5-6lb" at Kentucky Lake fishing with Bud, but when I picked her up she was light. When we weighed her she was just over 3. My fish looked a little bigger than the bass pictured and both had a bloody tail! 8-)

What is the best casting flurocarbon ? Opinons please
+1 (for the 9th time this month ) Hmm... What happen to P-Line CX Premium? I thought that was all you were using. I picked up some #15 to experiment with after being ripped-off with some #6...Anyhow, so far, so good. It's the most manageable (non-braid) line I have ever fished. Not pure fluoro, but maybe a better choice. 8-)

PREAKNESS
Without a doubt, my favorite logic, at least talkin' FutBall: "If we hadn't run out of time and scored more points, WE would have won!" 8-)
