  1. Take care of that in the morning and put a whoopin' on Tiger in the afternoon! Then maybe a little one-on-one with Michael Jordon after dinner?
  2. We have a new tool and can combine threads. One of the other guys must have combined Muddy's with this one. I was just kidding anyhow...Seems like the topic pops up every now and again... :
  3. It's over now...Welcome aboard! 8-)
  4. Man, that's some fish! 8-)
  5. Welcome aboard! 8-)
  6. Welcome aboard! Just a small glitch and it's behind us now. 8-)
  7. I have one, too. It has been my favorite rod for many years. I recently bought a BCR854 which has a slightly faster tip, but no one would know unless they fished both rods! 8-)
  8. Here you go: http://www.bassresource.com/bass_fishing_forums/YaBB.pl?num=1180909581 8-)
  9. Also, I suggest treating all line with KVD Line & Lure Conditioner. 8-)
  10. The website is referenced often: http://www.animatedknots.com/ There are several knots I recommend: Generallly: Palomar Knot For big treble hook lures: Sixteen-Twenty (also called Duncan or Pitzen Knot) http://206.210.94.83/collaterals/pdf/fhf_knot_sixteen_twenty.pdf Line to spool: Arbor Knot Line to line: Blood Knot 8-)
  11. Top three: Fat Ika, Senko, Gitzit. New for 2009, Rage Tail 10" Anaconda, Lobster and Space Monkey. 8-)
  12. I think "scent" helps hold a bite a little longer. I use JJ's Magic on jig trailers (pre-soaked and stored in small plastic bags). For all other soft plastics and swimbaits, MegaStrike. 8-)
  13. Add the Rage Tail Lobster to the line-up. I got a schooling by Big-O at Kentucky Lake. CJ and I fished the exactly the same area and shared a spot with Big-O fishing the same class baits (soft plastics) and Rat-L-Traps. CJ caught a few "keepers", I caught some numbers, but Big-O caught numbers AND size. His big fish was 6-8, but he had several 4s & 5s.
  14. Mattlures Baby Bass http://www.mattlures.com/babybass.htm 8-)
  15. Here you go, the answer is simple: http://www.bassresource.com/bass_fishing_forums/YaBB.pl?num=1158577137 8-)
  16. I'm not on the bandwagon with split grips, but I do have a Dobyns Champion Series 683C. Brokeju's advice is right on the money, the 705C is exactly what you are looking for. 8-)
  17. Okay... I'm glad Pure Fishing is great, but several other companies in the fishing business deserve exactly the same compliment. 8-)
  18. This is my worst story... The "Live" Pointer sucks. I bought one when they were first introduced. Even though I knew they sucked!, I bought two more at BPS when they put them on sale for $5.
  19. Perfect! You knocked this old thread off page 1 http://www.bassresource.com/bass_fishing_forums/YaBB.pl?num=1240098315 :
  20. hey Kent, obviously I'm not a mod, but isn't this time for Goodnight Irene? Getting ridiculous here........... :-[ Well, we have moved a little off-topic...Let's call it a wrap... Good night Irene -Kent a.k.a. roadwarrior Global Moderator
  21. C'mon... A tube of MegaStrike or a couple of bottles of JJ's Magic will last an entire year. Both products are VERY effective. I really think you are miles ahead with these attractants. 8-)
  22. I'm sure your comments come from the heart. It's not workers or unions that led to the demise of the Big Three, it was the greedy and inept management that led to these companies failure. You are not to young to remember when these companies reduced their warranty from 5 years to 1 year. They were building crap for the American people, but at that time we had few choices. I say, unleash a plague on them all. The systematic effort to screw their customers has taken thirty years to resolve. Let them all burn in Hell!
  23. My preference is the GYCB Laminated Lizard; split shot rig; Gamakatsu 4/0 EWG Offset Worm Hook; fished on spinning tackle and light line. The action is erratic, the "feel" is improved and the bass are rarely gut hooked. The split shot rig will lift the lizard off the bottom when it is pulled forward, not hopped. Sometimes a slow, steady retrieve is the ticket. Otherwise, move and let sit, then repeat until you feel you are out of the zone. 8-)
