  2. CONGRATULATIONS!
  3. I've seen the prom picture and the fur coat "live". He kinda gets away with it, but it's not "The Look" for Team Depends!
  4. Here ya go: http://www.bassresource.com/fishing/soft_plastics.html For more detail, check out the links at the bottom of the article. 8-)
  5. I agree, a 2500 is the "universal" size. However, if you are at the point of collecting technique specific equipment, the next size down is something to consider. Depending on the brand, that's either 1000 or 1500 series. I have a Stella 1000FA saddled up with an Avid AVS66MLF. It's sweet! 8-)
  6. We have an extensive library. Here are a few articles to get started with, but there is quite a bit more if you follow the links: http://www.bassresource.com/fishing/seasonal-fishing-articles.html#spring 8-)
  7. C'mon now... You can lead a horse to water, but you can't make him drink. A tube of MegaStrike won't break the bank. Give it a try and see what you think. 8-)
  8. I keep this in my "Favorites": http://www.bassresource.com/bass_fishing_forums/YaBB.pl?num=1167358924 8-)
  9. Well shoot...I wasn't paying attention as this thread moved off course before falling off a cliff. Goodnight Irene -Kent a.k.a. roadwarrior Global Moderator
  10. Nice fish, great pic! 8-)
  11. Geez... :
  12. The reel is the most important component. You are reeling and working your lure constantly. A smooth retrieve is key. Otherwise, the reel will wear you out. I much prefer baitcasters for these lure classes. 8-)
  13. 14. Welcome aboard! 8-)
  15. Welcome aboard! 8-)
  16. Welcome home! Salute!
  17. Well...it's really that simple. Setting the hook is kinda fun, but unnecessary. The key is maintaining pressure, a tight line. Never let the fish stage, it should be pulling drag or coming your way. 8-)
  18. Congratulations! Great post. Now add some of the other Rage Tail plastics to your tackle. 8-)
  19. I don't spend much time in our "Tournament" section, but I wish you guys would start posting all your 1st Place finishes, money made and boats won. Bragging fine, news releases and pictures welcome. Let's kick that section up a notch with some member recognition. We have several big winners in the Junior Divisions. I know some of our guys are tops in their clubs and CJ won a boat! Next time you score big, write it up for the rest of us, please. Maybe next year we can get KVD to man-up and face the challenge at the BassResource.com 5th Annual Roadtrip. Well...he might be busy trying to win some $250,000 tournament, but we're more fun! 8-)
  20. WOO-HOO! Great post and some fine fish!
  21. Great post!
  22. Here ya go: http://www.deloscustomtackleshack.com/reels/shimanocitaca_200e.html Oops! The Citica has been on sale for $99. I guess the sale is over.
  23. That's "the fishing song" he mentioned that the guys used last year. How 'bout this: http://search.msn.com/video/results.aspx?q=kid+rock+all+summer+long&docid=796628419063&FORM=VIRE2
