  7. If you decide to try Yo-Zuri Hybrid, Green is the color for clear water, smoke blends best in stained water. 8-)

  11. For future reference, start a new thread. The Citica is a great reel, pick your medicine: http://fish.shimano.com/publish/content/global_fish/en/us/index/products/reels/low_profile_baitcasting/Citica.html 8-)

  13. Around 5 lbs would be a good guess. 8-)
  14. Outstanding! Nice fish, great pic! 8-)
  15. Tournament fishermen represent all of us as a group, whether you like it or not. Legal or otherwise, these men should be held to a higher standard by those they associate with. "Disposing" of dead fish is simply repugnant to the general public and far less acceptable to true sportsmen. Most lakes require a permit for tournaments with a certain number of boaters. I suggest contacting the authorities and reporting the club. Those responsible for regulating club outings probably care and will make the effort to address the issue. >
  16. Welcome aboard! Good luck! 8-)
  17. Too cool! 8-)
  18. Classic! Nice fish, too! 8-)
  19. I'm glad you gave it a try and posted your success. Now you have another tool to work with. Sounds like a great outing to me! 8-)
  20. Heavy equipment and braided line. Hook-up, bring them to you and occasionally you will have to go to them, but the point is: Don't play the fish, put the heat on and get 'em in the boat! 8-)
  21. Great time to fish Lake Erie: Re: KVD talks Where to find Fish and What to Throw as Elite on Erie Approaches Reply #2 - Jul 29th 2008 at 07:50:12* I think the weather will be the biggest challenge. Lake Erie is on fire, the smallmouth fishing has never been better for both size and numbers. If the guys can get to them, 20-25 lb daily bags will be the norm. 8-)
  22. Congratulations! 8-)
  23. Welcome aboard! 8-)
  24. Bass Pro has original Hybrid on sale for $4.88. I would suggest buying a spool or two of the #12 and treating it with KVD Line & Lure Conditioner: http://www.basspro.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/Product_10151_-1_10001_10201217____SearchResults I haven't fished P-Line CX Premium yet, but The_Natural is familiar with both lines so his advice is based on an experienced comparison. I think Gamma Copolymer is another viable alternative. Pencil Pusher's suggestion probably won't work out too well for you. Good luck! 8-)
