  1. I like the InvizX and AbrazX, but Tatsu is best line I have ever fished.
  2. The rod a custom MHF Rainshadow Eternity/ #15 Tatsu. This is my dedicated jig rig.
  3. Well, I fish a lot of ponds where the best option is feeding the little ones to the coyotes, raccoons and turtles.
  4. Most water has too many little fish. It's not a reward, just no big deal.
  5. Dwight sold me one of his Conquest. I consider all of my reels "favorites", but this is my most favorite! #2 for me is the Core 50Mg.
  6. GET OFF THE LAWN! p.s. I would let the boy keep the fish.
  7. Yes, you are the only crazy one.
  8. From the Home Page: https://www.bassresource.com/bass-fishing-videos/backhand-cast.html
  9. YOUR favorite colors will probably work just fine. Some "universal colors" are Green Pumpkin, Watermelon/ Red Flake, Black/ Blue Fleck, PB&J, Purple, White and Chartreuse.
  10. Whatever percentage you generally tip at a restaurant is fine. I have had a few pitiful guides over the years, but I still tip them 10%. For a guide I have been fishing with for more than twenty years, it's 20%. https://www.hotdawgguideservice.com/
  11. Rain has stopped for now, but the next system arrives tomorrow afternoon. We are expecting another 5"-6".
  12. Why does the site or product name I posted show up as "another site" or as ***? First it has nothing to do with competition. In most cases, it has something to do with the points above - site owners not abiding by the rules of the forum, or over-zealous pro-staffers spamming the forums. In some cases, however, the site owner specifically requested that we do not link to their site. If your post contains ***, then that means you may not discuss that brand here. Your post will likely be deleted, and you may get banned (see the next paragraph below). _____________________________________ However, we have decided to limit the restriction on "13" for now. They seem to have stopped their aggressive behavior towards our site. -Kent a.k.a. roadwarrior Global Moderator
  13. I think you will be a VERY happy camper!
  14. It's time to build The Ark... The Mississippi River is 2' above flood stage at Memphis. All of the dams on the Tennessee River are spilling, the ponds are full and the water is universally cold chocolate milk. Over the next several days and through the weekend the entire region is expecting another 6"-12" of rain and as the storms move into the Ohio River Valley another surge of water will be pushed south into the Mississippi. There is no relief in sight and spring rains are just around the corner.
  15. "Elitism"? I don't care what anyone fishes with and have stated over the years that "anything" works if we are just talking about "catching". For me it's more about playing with my toys and the subtle differences in gear. In terms of innovation, spincast has been all but abandoned by the industry and the "high end" like an Omega just does not compare to a low end spinning reel or baitcaster. My gang bought two Omega when they were introduced and both were great little reels for catching baitfish on a sabiki rig, but I want something more when the target is trophy smallmouth.
  16. Surprising...That seems reasonable to me. Based on the cost per square foot, we (TN) are comparable. I was under the impression that NY prices were more like $250-$300 a foot on a postage stamp lot. As they say with real estate, it's all about location, location, location.
  17. I'm worn out just watching the video!
  18. Just buy it and fry it... "If you ain't cheat'n you ain't trying"
  19. Man... What a joke. I gave up on NASCAR several years ago, but watched this race...
