  1. Whether it's the right choice or the best choice, a worm is ALWAYS a viable option. I like fishing a jig even when I know something else would be a better choice.

  4. If I am casting into 12' or less without current, I will usually start with a weightless soft plastic, Senko or Fat Ika. On rig #2, topwater, jerkbait, squarebill or Bandit 200.

  9. You need to plan a trip below either Wilson or Pickwick. Five pounds is attainable on any trip to these areas, but timing is everything. Generally the best part of spring ends in a couple of weeks, then your odds improve dramatically in the fall after October 15. If you would like to fish with me, you're invited!
