The baitcaster can be used for any lure with a weight inside the rod specifications. That is probably 1/4 - 5/8 ounce. Your spinning outfit is best suited for light weight or weightless presentations.

Well, I have the 50E super-tuned and in PERFECT condition. With upgrades I consider this reel to be comparable to my Core 50Mg7. It is not for sale, but if it were I would ask $225, firm. I suggest buying the reel and sending it to DVT for service and upgrades (Carbontex brakes and Boca bearings).
