  1. Pickwick: Speedy Madewell below Pickwick Dam; Roger Stegall below Wilson Dam and the main lake. If you have your own boat, I might fish with you for a day or two. Dale Hollow: Jim Duckworth
  2. I have never had an issue either.
  3. This is a fine rod. You might find one "gently used" in our Flea Market for around $125.
  4. I have three Bass Pro 3600 boxes for soft plastics in the top compartment of a XPS Soft Tackle Bag. These are "ready to go". All my reserves are kept in their original bags.
  5. The sauger are on fire, the best year in ages!
  6. The best? Tatsu, nothin' to talk about except the price.
  7. That's not very nice. The Broncos have always been a class act.
  8. "I don't see what the big deal is with this rig!" Well, I have seen it in action. It is a HUGE deal.
  9. "The Challenge" was simply to try the Rage Tail Baits . Yes, I think it worked for Nitrofreak, but I think EVERY member of this forum should give them a try. Some will not be impressed, but most will become members of the Rage Tail Posse!
  10. I have always liked Tom Brady. Solid citizen with the moxie to marry a women who makes more money than he does! As the world's most beautiful woman and foremost model, she's probably better known than he is. They appear to be the perfect couple. As far as the game goes, Vegas has the line at 14 last time I checked. That sounds about right to me. It will take a miracle for Denver to beat New England, but Bronco Fans believe in miracles! 316 passing yards, with a 31.6 average. There's just something uncanny about Tim Tebow and 3:16.
  11. You will develope a "feel" over time, but in the meantime, ALWAYS set the hook!
  12. Are you kidding? No one drives prices unless someone is buying their product. The Japanese offered a superior product that was, and is, very productive. Buying a lure is subjective, but there is absolutely no obligation. As I stated before, the reputation has been earned.
  13. Hmm... http://en.wikipedia....Super_Bowl_XLII The biggest upset in sports history. If I were a Patriots fan, I would cross my fingers and legs, then wait a few weeks to gloat.
  14. My MIL is absolutely perfect! We buried her five years ago.
  15. Tebow... Geez...It's all about Tebow!
  16. Nobody said you need to buy anything. I don't buy anything if I consider that the price is outrageous.
  17. Like I said, "Who's the fool?"
  18. They are available all over the internet. I bought the YUM version for $17.
  19. I don't have a separate box, I kept terminal tackle in every box of soft plastics...self contained.
  20. Who's the fool? I have only lost two or three high dollar hard baits in a decade. On the other side of the coin, I've caught well over 300 5lb+ bass during those ten years. Did the quality and performance of these lures have anything to do with it? Fish what you like, but don't diss some of the best names in the industry. No one gave them their reputation, it has been earned over time.
  21. Hmm...I guess it might be a Shimano...
  22. Next year when Mizzou-RA! joins the SEC, I'll be a fan. But for now...I'm hoping both teams lose!
  23. Be patient, buy your gear on sale.
  24. I'm targeting World Record brown trout on the White River in north central Arkansas. My gear is a G. Loomis PR844S/ Stella 2500FE/ Yo-Zuri #4 (green).
  25. There is no reason to load more than 60-80 yards of braid. The balance should be monofilament backing or any other type of cheap-o line.
