Agreed, the grub is still #1.

Geez...Rex Grossman is still in the league. I think Chicago was the first team to ever make it to the Super Bowl without a QB! I still can't believe the Giants beat the Patriots in XLII. So, anything is possible.

You can put in safely at the Botel, but I STRONGLY advise you NOT to fish the river right now, especially by yourself. Before tackling high water, you need to be comfortable with release under 60 cfs. Boat control is very difficult at 100+ .

I'm not getting rid of my Shimano reels, Loomis or Avid rods, but the new Pinnacle line-up is another "comparable" alternative. My initial experience with this new gear has been VERY favorable. I know you love your Shimanos, too. Still, if you want to try something else, you will not be disappointed. My favorite pie is blueberry, but I also like apple, peach and cherry!

There are only 7, or maybe 8, "elite" quarterbacks in the NFL. Tebow won more games than most of the other 25. I don't think anyone picked Denver to make the playoffs this year. It's really quite an accomplishment. Orton, on the other hand, will be sitting at home.

New At Baitcasting
I don't think so: Let's get technical, as there are in fact reasons, not just some lame holdover from days past that put the handles where they are. What will move the fish during retrieval is placed to the strong hand! A baitcast is designed to be used as a winch, so it is the reel that retrieves the fish. Hence if you are right handed the handle is in your right hand. A spinning reel is designed to pick up unloaded or loose line, not retrieve the fish. Hence it is the rod that does the retrieval, so it is the rod that is in your strong hand. If you are right handed then the pole goes to the right hand. Like This George Welcome Sebastian Florida
