I'll be there, too! I'm fishing with my friend and Pickwick guide, Speedy Madewell. Stop by and say hi! We are fishing from a 2180 BayRanger, white with blue trim. This weekend we caught smallmouth, largemouth and spots. Our best bronzeback was around 4lbs, 3 1/4 lb largemouth and 2-3 lb Kentucky bass. Probably around twenty bass, a dozen cats and a couple of drum. :D

The owner/inventor has been winning tournaments with the rig. I fished Make-A-Wish out of McFarland Harbor (Florence, AL) a couple of weeks ago. The Alabama Rig won that tournament, too.

The rod is one of my favorites: 10 Same with the reel: 10 I have heard a lot of great things about the line. My favorite: MBR842C/ Core 50MG/ Yo-Zuri Hybrid #12 This isn't an "all-around" rig, but it's perfect for small swimbaits, Rage Tail Space Monkey, Smokin' Rooster, Silver Buddy, single tail grubs, and swimming small jigs. :D
