  1. I'm actually kind of surprised. Silly me, I thought we would see a lot more commonality. I guess I need to print this thread or take some notes! 8-)
  2. You guys up north can keep your weather, don't send us anymore! Tonight's low will be 15*, 28* for a high tomorrow. This ain't Green Bay but it sure feels like it to us. ;D ;D
  3. http://www.***.com/Seaguar_Tatsu_Fluorocarbon_Line/descpage-STFL.html I purchased a spool of 200 yards for $48. This was 15 lb, .013" diameter, the same as Yo-Zuri Hybrid #12. These are the notable characteristics: (1) Incredibly clear (2) Smooth. I think the extruding process produces a line with perfect uniformity. (3) Extremely manageable out of the box and after being spooled and stored for some time. (4) Every bit as strong as the rating (5) No issues with a variety of knots My only issue is the price. -Kent
  4. Well Sean, you might find you like the profile and action of the Rage Tail line. I have been a GYCB fan for more than a decade and use a vaiety of other soft plastics. I find the Rage Tails have some unique charteristics. You might be surprised. Back on topic, I just bought a BCR893 which will be used exclusively for soft plastics. I haven't selected the reel, but I plan to rotate a few until I find the perfect match! 8-)
  5. Hmm.... I have a few G.Loomis rods, some going back 14 years or so. I have used the Xpeditor service when I rolled a window up on a rod. Several friends fish G.Loomis and some of their friends, too! I don't recall anyone ever having an issue that wasn't resolved to their complete satisfaction. 8-)
  6. Give the Moaner Hooks a try and you will extend the life of all soft plastics at least 100%. I had a day last summer when I caught over 40 bass on a single Rage Tail 7" Thumper! 8-)
  7. Great pics everyone, but Fourbizz, geez! Beautiful fish. I hope you are back into bass this year. 8-)
  8. Long before I became a member here, I spent some time on Fish Chris' website. Everything about the man's fishing appeals to me and his documented success speaks for itself. Otherwise, we have at least a dozen guys that seem to really stand out from the crowd. I really appreciate everyone's contributions, but especially the insight from those "gettin' it done!" 8-)
  9. What about the MBR842C/ Core 50MG you sold? I'll stick with the 844 as my recommendation for all-around, but my "favorite" combo has become the 842/Core. 8-)
  10. For everyone else, Deb & Greg have several of their GLX for sale dirt cheap on the Flea Market. I just bought a BCR893 for $240. 8-)
  11. Monday is closed. http://www.commercialappeal.com/news/2011/jan/09/snow-forces-closure-area-schools-monday/ ;D ;D
  12. Are you guys all drunk? Great game. Good luck next week! That was an exciting game. Heck, three of this weekend's game were great. I hope the play-offs stay on this tract. Woo-Hoo! ;D ;D
  13. Nope. I have the GLX MBR 844C, MBR 784C, MBR842C, PR844C, PR844S and BCR845. My other rods are St. Croix, Dobyns and Lamiglas. I think you will be happy with whichever you choose. 8-)
  14. If you can kick in a couple of bucks, get the IMX MBR844C. 8-)

Man, the Chiefs didn't even show up! Think they could use a quarterback? Geez... :-X
  16. Easily found for $250, maybe even GLX if you can find the right deal. I recommend being patient and buying on our Flea Market. All around and an all-time favorite: MBR 844C http://www.***.com/G_Loomis_Mag_Bass_IMX_Casting_Rods/descpage-GLMIXCR.html 8-)
  17. I like Avids. You can fish all soft plastics with that rig. 8-)
  18. The line on sale is the New(?) Fireline Braid, not "Original" and not fused. I just bought some, so I don't have anything to say about it yet. 8-)
  19. Dick's has Fireline on sale right now. A few weeks ago, on sale for $25 (300 yards). Today, half price ~$12.50. 8-)
  20. Man, I thought I looked through both TW and Rage Tail sites and could not find the Falcon Lake color. At any rate Catt, that is THE ONE! ;D ;D ;D
  21. KC Chiefs tomorrow! 8-)
  22. Man, what a day...

No I am "Medium" everything. Medium fits perfectly. If you are "Large", large will fit perfectly.
