  1. G. Loomis MBR784C/ Shimano CTE200GT 8-)
  2. Welcome aboard! 8-)
  3. Welcome aboard! 8-)
  4. I have the PR844C which is technically a saltwater popping rod. It's very special. I think you might like it, too! 8-)
  5. 3/4 oz GMAN Mop jig/ Rage Tail Lobster fished SLOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOW. Crawl the jig over a rock or limb and let it hide. Then move it to the next piece of cover and let it rest again. 8-)
  6. Welcome aboard! 8-)
  7. Welcome aboard! 8-)
  8. Stories like this really warm my heart. I'm glad we don't drill our own oil so those guys can live large. I hope you remember this picture every time you fill the tank...I will. >
  9. We catch GIGANTIC drum in the Tennessee River on live baits and any subsurface artificial. The biggest drum I ever caught was last fall on a Sworming Hornet with a Lake Fork Tackle Live Magic Shad trailer! I suppose if you just catch a drum occasionally you might find them interesting. On the Tennessee we catch them all the time and consider them "trash". 8-)
  10. Usually, the issue with hook-ups is just quickness. Use a snap-set: When you detect a bite, lower your rod tip as you reel down quickly. Snap your wrist without moving your hand position relative to your body. This will move the rod tip from 9:00 to 12:00 and drive the hook home! 8-)
  11. Big presentation: Rage Tail Lobster, Paca Craw, Double Wide Beaver, Rage Hawg Medium: GYCB Flappin' Hog, Rage Tail Craw, Baby Paca Craw Small: Rage Tail Chunk, GYCB Baby Craw 8-)
  12. G.Loomis rods distinguish themselves from others at the IMX level. You can probably find what you want on our Flea Market with a little patience. Otherwise, there are a lot of options around $150 that might be a better choice than the Mossyback series Loomis. 8-)
  13. Nice fish, especially in the cold...Great pic, too!
  14. 11-4 Nice fish...Great pic, too! 8-)
  15. Your rod is fine. For everyone else, whatever you like to use for weightless soft plastics is all that's needed for Fat Ika. 8-)
  16. Yes. I like the Rage Tail Baby Craw and the GYCB Baby Craw. 8-)
  17. Maybe a little casting distance, but it's mostly just personal preference. Some guys like 6' rods, some guys like them longer. 8-)
  18. Yep...Pretty hard to break off in a float tube. 8-)
  19. I think you will find the Hybrid comparable. For twice the money I think you would like Seaguer InvizX 100%, too. I have been experimenting with #8 on a spinning reel and #12 AbrazX on a baitcaster. 8-)
  20. So when will they be available?
